Steven Tyler and Dirico Motorcycles To Attend Sturgis Bike Week.

steventyleratcyrilhuzeblogDirico Motorcycles USA, the brand of Steven Tyler’s inspiration and Mark Dirico’s innovation, will be appearing at the 2009 Sturgis Bike Week. Tyler himself will be there performing with Aerosmith, the official band of the event.  Dirico Motorcycles will be displaying bikes at the 7th Annual Metzeler Bike contest on Tuesday, August 4, at Buffalo Chip. Dirico will also have a full display setup of its models on Lazelle Street in Sturgis all week long, and a bike at the Deadwood Casino. A Dirico motorcycle will be raffled off on Stage at Buffalo Chip during the Aerosmith concert, Wednesday, August 5. For more information go to Buffalo Chip.

Tyler will also be taking part in the Legends Ride on Monday, August 3 (I will attend) starting in Silverado-Franklin Historic Hotel and Gaming Complex, in Deadwood, and ending at Buffalo Chip in Sturgis. More about the ride can be found at Legends Ride.

Nothing against Tyler or Tallarico, but each time a celebrity lends his name to a motorcycle shop, it’s a flop. Some people buy the bike because of the celebrity, but it’s very limited. I heard that Tallarico is the brother in law of Tyler…

Give it up Tyler, what a time to be an old rock star getting on the band wagon to try and sell your name with bikes.
    Puke.

I think I would have to go along with Gina on this one. Try to look at the positive side of this in that it may bring more attention to the industry as a whole and bring in riders you may not have seen otherwise.

    Gina,

May I point out that Jesse James and Billy Lane may now ne “has beens” but one must remember they once they were “have beens” in this industry (OCC never was and never will be part of the industry) …. Tyler has never been a part of this industry and now that his Rock Career is on the skids he is looking to this industry to float his boat.

Hell, who cares as long as it brings someone new into the industry ……….

    Jeff

I like the blue softail style one they have. Im not into names or who has what. If it looks good and rides nice the name means nothing. Rock On Tyler!!!!
