New Curved License Plate Frames From Harley-Davidson

I know, I know… The curved license plate is almost as old as the license plate itself. But Harley proposes them with a new look and feel. Their new ones ($79.95) is shaped to hug the contour of the genuine Harley rear fender. Designed to replace the original-equipment black license plate bracket, installation requires no drilling or rewiring. The front frame cover conceals the plate’s mounting holes and raw edges, and the curved shape hides the unfinished rear side of the plate. Available in chrome or gloss-black finish, the complete kit includes all required mounting hardware. It fits many 2006-later Touring models, 2005-later Softail Deluxe and 2005-’07 Softail Springer Classic models. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.

Are they only double plated like the other chrome parts Harley puts their name on that are made in China? Seeing way too much crappy chrome pealing and flaking.
