Rolling Thunder 25th Anniversary Tribute Bike Build. Questions Answered (Part 2)

Regarding my article about the Rolling Thunder 25th Anniversary 4 tribute bikes built by Brigitte Bourget, Billy Lane, Mike Tomas and Dar Holdsworth, you asked: 1- what will be done with them after their unveiling in Washington DC on May 26, 2012 . 2- who will hold title of these motorcycles. Here are the answers.

The build project is destined to be epic as these road-worthy bikes will, then be toured around the country with the traveling “Wall that Heals,” at various military installations and events, Veteran Affairs locations, major motorcycle rallies, and potentially taken overseas to the troops.  An impressive publicity campaign and production surrounding the Rolling Thunder 25th Anniversary observance is currently underway.  Further production details to be announced.

The bikes belong to the people that fought for this country and dedicated to constantly paying tribute to the servicemen and servicewomen of this country.  Jay is the title holder of the vehicles as curator, except for Kiwi’s bike

Really want to see what Billy Lane comes up with. Hopefully this reveal will be more about showing bikes then about smack talk and cheapshots.

This will be a very interesting project for every builder and buildress as they all have their own and varied styles.

The competitiveness is always a good thing, among People in the Industry. I would have never thought that there is another Bourget that is a designer!
