New Harley-Davidson Detachable Ventilator Winshields

After the Mid-Frame Air Deflector for Softail® model that I featured a few days ago, and always preoccupied by your riding comfort, Harley-Davidson is now launching windshields with adjustable vents. These new Ventilator Detachable Windshields ($424.95 to $474.95) feature clear, injection-molded vents that allow the rider to adjust the airflow to match the riding conditions.

Opening the vents redirects the air across the rider’s chest for a cooling effect and added comfort in warm weather or when riding at low speeds in traffic. Closing the vents provides maximum wind and weather protection. And, because it’s a detachable shield, it can also be removed completely and reinstalled in seconds to match a riding mood or situation.

Available in 19-inch and 20-inch sizes to fit many Sportster®, Dyna® and Softail® models. The 21-inch Ventilator King-Size Detachable Windshield ($374.95 to $424.95) is available to fit 1994-later Road King® models and a number of Softail models. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details. Harley-Davidson

Great idea! I’m just getting ready to replace my Road King windshield and it looks like this is what I’ll be replacing it with!! Something useful not flashy.

Looks like a great idea for hot weather riding.

A ventilator windshield, an oxymoron indeed.
