A promo that probably will bring a lot of curious to Vic dealerships.

Cyril what you may not know, is that Victory is so confident, that they actually have trucks roaming the country with three 2011 Victory’s and 3 comparable 2011 Harley’s. Yep, Victory actually bought the new Harley’s and are bringing them to dealerships so customers can ride both side-by-side! Lets see ANY other manufacturer bring the competition to their dealership and put it in their customers’ hands. If that isn’t confidence in superior engineering, I don’t know what is. I love Harley just like the next guy, but those Vic’s are so much more bike, and actually 20% MORE AMERICAN than a new Harley. Wow, shove THAT up your Softail… -just sayin’

I’m a touring bike rider. I ride a Road King. Being a touring bike rider, I wouldn’t consider a victory. I don’t mean to be mean spirited, but they are just SOOOOO UGLY! Their cruiser bike are not too bad although I’m not crazy about the “swoopy” (Arlen Ness) like design. Also, I’m not so sure there is anything “superior” about them.

I have told my Victory dealer many times that their best advertising would be to buy a Harley and let their prospective customers take it for a test ride, then ride the Victory. If you have ridden both you will know why. Victory stole my idea! Good for them.

HEY SPAZ Victory has a good idea with bringing along the Harleys for a test ride but who says those bike’s have not been tampered with just saying

The Vic Cross Country is ugly? Really? As for superior, how about 10 ci’s more discplacement, dual overhead cams, lighter aluminum frame/swingarm, larger easier to open saddlebags, more comfortable stock seat w/ 4″ of padding all for a grand less than HD. Hey if you want to ride a Harley, that’s fine as they are great bikes. However there are quite a few areas where the HD lags behind Victory.

    Ride safe,

    Jim
