New “Two Wheel Thunder” Motorcycle TV Show With Michelle Smith And Jay Barbieri

michellesmithJayBarbieriWhile at the V-Twin Expo, talked to Jay Barbieri who informed me about his new TV venture. After a decade and a half on the SPEED Channel hosting “American Thunder” Michele Smith and Jay Barbieri are moving to the Discovery Network’s HD Theater channel with a new TV show named “Two Wheel Thunder”. As far as I understand the new show format seems to be similar to what they were doing on SPEED. They were in Cincinnati shooting and interviewing and will be in Daytona during Bike Week (Feb. 26th to March 7th) hunting for new bikes and parts for the 1st episode debuting April 12, 2010 during “Motorcycle Mondays”. HD Theater Channel.

Hopefully it will be better than that P.O.S. with Colby “I’m that loser from Survivor”, And “here’s 2 hot girls for you to look at.” The whole show seemed so forced. I enjoyed watching Michelle get more comfortable in front of the camera every year.

Jay and Michelle have been some of the best ambassadors of the V-Twin aftermarket for the last 15 years. Say what you will about the reach and exposure they had on the Speed Channel, they have always had the focus of being intimately connected and involved with the industry. They have given television viewers an opportunity to see the industries best bikes, products and people each and every week and we all owe them a bit of thanks. Hopefully, the new show on the Discovery Channel will allow these two to do what they do best, reach more people and keep the industry appealing and visible to consumers. Congrats Jay and Michelle and best of luck with the new show!

I LOVE MICHELLE SMITH ! I tink she is the Hottest Chick, ever to Ride a Harley. I wish I knew If she was going to be in Daytona, I would Go Just to see Her Cleavege in Person. With that Sweet Voice and those Pearly Whites, and the Fine Boob Job that she has. She could be the Spokeswoman of the V-Twin World and Shit would happen. All the World would look and listen to Michelle. What do you think????

I goggled the shows name too if there is an air date listed, and found there is already a show called “Two Wheel Thunder”! I wonder how well Discover did its homework when coming up with the name!?

Looking forward to the new show no matter what the name though.

I hope the show is a success, however, they have a very big up hill battle. From a combination of dying viewer demographics to content.

There are other shows coming out on the market. Youtube carries small webisodes that are quite entertaining and can be seen anytime. I just ran across V Twin Channel and it looks like the beginning to something………not quite sure what exactly they are trying to do but looks like they are developing some small web shows of some type. Semipro quality but good music and ok content. Let’s see if they can put it off before they run out of money………..

Personally, if I were Jay, I would have teamed up with somebody a little younger than Michele. Nothing against her, just a change of face would have been nice.

It will be interesting to see if they can pull in the younger viewers as well.

Having Jay and Michelle promoting our industry is great as they are both excellent ambassadors. We did an interview with them at Cinci. Both are easy to get along with and Michelle just makes it all happen while making one feel very comfortable in her interviews. There is a special talent and chemistry between them both.

  10. 10 Bigalyts Feb 21st, 2010 at 9:24 pm

Sniperman, “If I were Jay I would have teamed up with someone younger” !f I were Jay I would be greatful to be on the same Page, Stage, or on Camera with Michelle! Sniperman, you must be 20 Yrs Old, if so I would be looking for that “Cougar” action!

Michelle Smith is way over the hill.

I have had the pleasure of working with both Jay and Michelle. They are both very genuine people and a pleasure to work with and hang out with too. Having a V twin show that was on the air longer then any other motorcycle show says it all. A whole lot more then people on a computer taking cheap shots.
Best of luck Jay and Michelle,

    Bygalyts…….

Time for you to take your Geritol my old friend.

I recently saw Michele Smith at the Timonium Show in Baltimore and I must sadly report that her booth was empty most of the time. There was another booth with some younger models having their picture taken and their booth was much busier than Michele’s booth. These other models were very pretty and kudos to the promoter for having nice talent.

Michele is no longer a Cougar………she has evolved into a Barracuda!!! Yes, Bygalyts…..Barracudas are women in their 50’s that have been ridden hard and put away wet.

Like I mentioned earlier, Michele is a lovely lady, however, If I were Jay, I would have gone with a younger face…….maybe somebody in their 30’s with some nice appeal.

    After all…..it is show business.

    Just my opinion……

Once again, I wish them the best of luck.

Sorry to say i think the show would be much better with Leslie Porterfield then Michele Smith. In my opinion Leslie is hotter, she rides, and is real!

  16. 16 Jim Gianatsis Feb 22nd, 2010 at 1:56 pm

Both Jay and Michelle are great people. I’m glad to hear their new TV show will be on the Discovery Channel which is now the REAL MOTORCYCLE Channel when it comes to good quality motorcycle documentry programs.

But I do agree the show should be hosted by a younger spokesmodel who really cares and knows about bikes ( how about attractive woman land speed motorcycle record holder Leslie Porterfield ). Michelle now has the experience that she might be moved behind the camera as a production assistant or producer.

This TV show is what the American motorcycle industry needs to gain us more exposure again to the general public and help us recover the industry which is down 70% or more. The custom V-twin craze in America was created 10-15 years ago by all the TV shows like Build or Bust, Biker Build Off, Orange County Choppers, and of course the original, American Thunder. With those programs gone, the U.S. bike industry started its decline before the recession.

As a side note, Michelle Smith was a Playboy agency model who knew or cared nothing about motorcycles when I first booked her in 1993 to shoot at legendary Griffith Park Observatory in Hollywood with a custom bike for the 1994 Iron & Lace Calendar. That probably helped get Michelle noticed at the time by my friend and TV producer Lenny Shabis for his upcoming new TV series on the Speed Channel, American Thunder. Michelle’s association with the custom bike market started in the FastDates.com Iron & Lace Calendar.

  17. 17 madpuppy Feb 22nd, 2010 at 3:32 pm

Well, Michelle Smith still does it for me ! And to me she “IS” a younger women ! LOL

  18. 18 Vette Feb 22nd, 2010 at 4:37 pm

We do need the TV shows to help the industry recover. Showing all the different types of motorcycle cultures that are now present and the upcoming ones is not a bad idea either.

I do have to strongly agree that, male or female, the spokesperson needs to be knowledgeable and have a genuine passion for the industry to win the audiences. Hot looks are always a must but as the enthusiasts become more knowledgable so should our favorite TV personalities.

  19. 19 Rick Fairless Feb 22nd, 2010 at 7:02 pm

I love Michele Smith & I think she does a GREAT job! Jay is making the right decision by bringing her back. Congratulations Jay & Michele on your new show, I will be faithfully watching from my little bike shop here in Dallas Texas!

So, what ever happened to all those shows on Speeds Two wheel Tuesday? Those shows are missed by many and gone with no explanation. I received an invite from Michele to join her fan club on Facebook. From there I read of the talk of upcoming new shows. To me, the news is welcomed! To the nay sayers that Michele is over the hill….get over it, i hope my ol’ lady looks as good when she reaches Michele maturity! Anyway, its supposed to be a show for motorcycle enthusiasts and not a skinomax!

  24. 24 MJ Feb 24th, 2010 at 2:31 pm

They have created a lot of excitement for the show on Facebook, and from the press release that they sent out that says they will be set up directly across from the Iron Horse Saloon to cover all that goes on at Daytona Bike Week 2010.

Rick, nice Victory Vegas on the back of Victory Rider Magazine this month! Tell Gene and Johhny I said hello.

I have recently had a someone tell me he’d of loved to have had me on T.V. 10 years ago, before I lost my looks. Ouch! I love women. The beautiful ones are fun to look at and the young ones are exciting to hold, but when I’m looking for character, wit, and charm I now tend to look for those getting old. Michele is a beautiful woman and is entertaining. I wish her and Jay (and maybe Johnny?) well. Michele, if you are reading this, I hope you take all of this with a grain of salt. I now know what it feels like to be labeled too old.

Glad to see Michelle and Jay back on TV representing our sport well. I hope that the ‘Two Wheeled Thuder’ is just that; a show that is a for all motorcycles and all types who ride them as opposed to only a specific segment

  29. 29 Blackmax Mar 3rd, 2010 at 11:22 am

I am met Michelle about 2 yrs ago while I was covering the V-Twin Expo & the Indy dealer shows, for, (get this) Two Wheel Thunder TV out of Cincinnati. Local operator of a web broadcast that airs on YouTube & the Local Cable access channels. She was very gracious to all I saw her talk to. Jay Barbari has turned out to be a good friend & supporter of the local show & of the local (Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana & West Virgina) magazine, Road Wheeler.I’ve had the opportunity to interview him at every V-twin Expo, Indy show & in Sturgis, when I was there in 08. Always a great interview & a gracious gentleman. i was a fan of the original American Thunder & will no doubt be a fan of this show as well. I wish them both the best of luck & the greatest of success. As very visible ambassadors of the sport, they deserve it !!!!
Hey Cyril, I’m still waiting for a interview with you, maybe next year’s V-Twin? Anybody interesting in seeing our work on the local level is welcome to go to http://www.roadwheeler.com both online magazine & video

I miss the Two Wheel Tuesdays shows too. I think the new show will have something for everybody. They were shooting some footage at the Timonium Bike show in Feb. From what I saw it’s going to be great. Michelle and Jay are true professionals and so were their crew. Of course there will be product endorsements. They can’t just do this stuff without backing. But I think they are going toward a little more human interest in this show.
American thunder paved the way for a lot of other motorcycle shows and I quit watching it after they took Michelle off. I think having this new show along with the others will help round out the market/audience for a larger demographic.
Good luck guys….Can’t wait for the first show!!!!

  31. 31 Michele Smith Mar 29th, 2010 at 4:13 pm

Thanks for all your comments. I appreciate the support from those of you who are waiting for the new show to air. (Two Wheel Thunder airs in June) To those of you who would rather see another face well i think you were out numbered by the amount of email that was received by WATV as well as myself and Jay Barbieri after Speed changed American Thunder. The support i have had from the biker community has been overwhelming. Thank you.
As for Jim Gianatsis thinking i was “discovered” from appearing in that “cheesy” calendar of his back in the day let me remind you that it was EASYRIDERS ROADWARE CATALOGE that Lenny found me on the cover and found out i could ride as well. I have had a motorcycle License since 1996 and didnt start American Thunder until 1998. I was a rider well before i was hired to host American Thunder. It goes to show you that you have no clue who i am to say that i dont care about or know about the motorcyle industry. I have worked long and hard and quite frankly have lasted longer in this business than most. NO i am not a bike builder and i dont claim to be, No i am not a “Biker Babe” and dont claim to be but what i will claim is the fact that i am as “Kiwi Mike” puts it an ambassador to the motorcycle world. A face that people have become familiar with in the industry , a voice they have heard on the TV for more than 10 years and someone that they can walk up and talk to and know they can have a comfortable conversation with. Over the years i have received many emails from woman who told me they would have never had the courage to ride if it wasnt for me. Husbands of woman have told me the same thing. I would like to think that perhaps i did a little bit of a good thing by bringing more woman into the motorcycle culture who otherwise may not have had the courage to do so. Jim i do not normally read the blogs but happen to come across this while searching for something else and couldn’t help but responding to you. You may have known me for many years but do you REALLY know me????? Did they take Vanna White off the tube or put her behind the scenes because she’s an older lady? I understand that at some point i will fade out from this industry but when i do i wont be forgotten. Icon, Vintage, call it what you want but for now I’m here to stay.
By the way Jim have you ever even thrown a leg over a motorcycle? LOL

  32. 32 David Conrad Mar 29th, 2010 at 5:53 pm

To the person who wrote that wrote they should havea younger host for the show, they tried that once before and what happened, it was a flop and the show was canceled after 14 years. It sounds to me that this person that wrote that is a child molester. Michele is the real deal and shes a cool chick. She has been around motorcycles her whole life. She has always loved bikes ever since her daddy used to take her for rides. She even had 2 bikes before she started AT. so before anybody opens their pie hole they should no all the facts. She has what it takes to make this show popular and hopefully we will have another hit show because theirs nothing to watch anymore. So lets all wish Michele and Jay good luck with this show because we need to have something . Also on a note, Michele has worked very hard over the years and she became successful thru her own hard work and not because some moron took a couple pics of her.

I understand that at some point i will fade out from this industry but when i do i wont be forgotten. Icon, Vintage,

Linda Vaughn is still around :), and you have lots of miles left your on Tv carrer

  34. 34 Jay Mar 29th, 2010 at 11:00 pm

Wow, thanks for the kind words. The new show is filming episode 8 out of 10. For everyone who knows Michele and I personally you know that our love and respect for the motorcycle culture goes deeper than what you see on TV. With the new format and increased creative control I hope we can do the lifestyle justice. Thanks again. BTW Michele is still the best, looks great and we are all lucky to have her back on the air.

So glad that Michele is coming back. The New American Thunder show was absolutely terrible. Glad that Jay smartened up.

  39. 39 Dennis May 22nd, 2010 at 5:32 pm

Michele and Jay are a great team. I am so glad they got rid of that New American Thunder Show. I watched it twice and removed it from my TIVO. I couldn’t stand them non motorcycle kids.
Jay is a professional and Michele is second to none in my book as a host and with her personality you can’t lose.
It will be a pleasure to get these two back on the tube. June 7th on Discovery HD can’t come soon enough. I already have my TIVO set in case I am out riding when it comes on
Good Luck and glad tp have you back

I miss having good MC shows on TV.
Any good book, movie, TV show needs good
human character and I think Jay and Michelle bring that to
the screen. Best of luck and looking forward to the new show!

Great that another M/C show will be on the air. YUK that ole Smith will be back on it. She’s about the phoniest broad I’ve ever seen. Oh yea, like she actually built a bike – she can barely hold a wrench! Maybe they’ll replace her on this like American Thunder, and I can bear to watch it.

  42. 42 Big John May 30th, 2010 at 8:54 pm

With all the Hype it doesn’t seem to be listed on june 7 like it say’s it will be. I looked on discovery and discovery hd maybe someone could update the listings??

  43. 43 Biker Dave Jun 1st, 2010 at 6:31 am

Hey i dont know about most of the guys out their but i would rather watch a hot blond any day work on bikes rather than some smelly biker, which i am one. Sort of like reading Porn star Angie Savages tech tips every month in Easyriders, just follow the bouncing boobies, that will hold my attention.

  44. 44 Stormy Jun 1st, 2010 at 12:08 pm

Michele is the best! Loved her on American Thunder. I met her in Las Vegas a few ago at the auction. She is even more beautiful in person than on TV. Jay is cool. Their so called replacements on American Thunder were its downfall. We welcome Michele and Jay back to the American V-Twin community.

  45. 45 Hardly Dangerous Jun 7th, 2010 at 8:21 pm

Please, please, please do some real tech spots…. How many times can we watch Jay Barbieri bolt on chrome tonnage. How about instead of bolting stuff on, you give tech on how to get rid of useless glitter?

  46. 46 Vaughan Pederson Jun 7th, 2010 at 11:37 pm

Michele and Jay are a great team. She is the real deal, classy, comfortable in front of the camera and she really is a rider, not a wanna be. She is a beautiful woman, and deserves the respect of the riders and non riders alike.

  47. 47 Vaughan Pederson Jun 7th, 2010 at 11:40 pm

Yes, the “New American Thunder” was a dreadful and boring show. A poor show trying too hard to be on par with the original. I am glad Jay and Michele are back in their element. They earned the spotlight.

  48. 48 Jeff Howard Jun 8th, 2010 at 2:02 am

It’s great to have Michele and Jay back together but the first two episodes were just OK. There needs to be a few more segments to each show…Jay working on bikes, plugging Kuryakyn is fine but not for half the episode. The shoe thing was boring. The budget on this show appears to be a lot less then “American Thunder”. Also Michele needs to show the twins and the music was way to loud and annoying.

  49. 49 Dozer Jun 8th, 2010 at 9:17 am

It’s just great to have Michelle and Jay back on television doing what they do best. I’ve really missed them since American Thunder. Also, Michelle looks outstanding in HD!

  50. 50 JC Jun 8th, 2010 at 4:09 pm

Michelle is cool. Jay is such a fake douche wanna be.

  51. 51 SuckerPunch Jun 8th, 2010 at 9:58 pm

I was excited to see that Discovery Theater had a new show for the motorcycle community. As i turned on the program, my heart sank when I saw Jay doing yet another ‘Kuryakn bit’…”You can put some ‘chrome crap’ here, some more chrome crap there’ etc. Then yet, ANOTHER interview with the Ness’s. Nothing against them, but there has clearly been a ‘changing of the gaurd’ when it comes to new and innovative builders. Lets see something new. The old formula of American Thunder was/is tired. (no matter who the host was) I was hoping for something fresh, something that held my interest… this was just SSDD (Same Show Different Day)

  52. 52 Motorcycle Monster Jun 9th, 2010 at 1:17 pm

Hey Jim, Just for the record, I have seen Michele Ride a bagger. She can ride better than most…for sure. I would challenge her to a contest of who can ride best. She is the real deal…

Yippee.. Two Wheel Thunder Brings back Michele Smith

It’s that time of year when folks gather for class reunions, and family vacations to reunite with old family and friends. The Discovery HD network hosted their own reunion of sorts for the Harley community this past Monday night with the airing of a new motorcycle enthusiast show called Two Wheel Thunder.

Popular motorcycle celebrity, Michele Smith, has been brought back to national TV to continue her role as the First Lady of Motorcycling. Smith has had a wonderful relationship with the biker world with her motorcycle savy and friendly manner for over ten years while hosting Speed TVs American Thunder. Using her TV popularity as a base, Smith continued to endear herself to the Harley World by attending and visiting with hundreds of thousands of bikers at national events. Smiths willingness to meet, greet, sign and smile for a Kodak Moment has made Smith probably the most popular motorcycle celebrity today.

After over ten years of a successful TV run, last year, WATV brought in some new talent and changed the direction of the successful motorcycle show and named it The New American Thunder. Frankly, the talent and the new direction both missed the mark and the “New show” flopped. V Twin enthusiasts didn’t care for the new talent or interviews with skate board kids. Another blunder was leaving “all pro” Michele Smith on the side lines giving hosting duties to some new unproven talent. Thankfully, the e-mails came down on WATVs and bikers from around the country, told WATV that they goofed.

To their credit, the New American Thunder was scrapped and WATV put together Two Wheel Thunder. They also have repaired the biggest mistake and brought back Michele.

This new project is much like the American Thunder loved by enthusiasts for years with a few changes. Producer Jay Barbieri now is co hosting the show with Michele and doing the product installs and visiting different motorcycle facilities, while Michele continues to work Motorcycle events and interview the builders and innovators at these shows. Congratulations to Jay for putting this together and repairing the void left by Michele.

As for the premier of Two Wheel Thunder. It was like a warm reunion with a good friend. I was very comfortable with my good motorcycle friend Michele. Personally, the Monster would like to see more of Michele and her motorcycle characters and a little less “boot construction”, but we also understand that the bills must be paid through sponsors.

As for a rating, the Monster gives Two Wheel Thunder four Monsters out of five.

Great show all. you had a show that had a company that has seats and fenders for the harleydavidson rockers. I cant remember the name of that company that was at some expo or something but I would like to look into buying one of those seats and see what else they have for the rocker. I have the detachable hd stock passenger seat and it put my wife so high in the air that she wont even ride with me. It isnt the rocker c. I wouldnt put my wife on that seat. maybe a bar wench. lol that seat that was on your show lowerd the seat and got rid of that gap between the bike and the seat. you can email me if you like since i dont blog much.
great show lots of good stuff. dont let jay make boots or weld exhaust pipes. lol

Wow, what a divergence of opinions. I just yesterday learned about this resurrection of Jay and Michelle and couldn’t be more pleased. Whether Michelle carries the ‘babe-o-licious’ moniker or not (I think she does) isn’t the point. The point is that the former programming focused attention to the culture/sport/hobby or whatever one calls it and it did so in such a way as to be interesting, refreshing and worthy of following. The successors to Jay and Michelle never came close and as a viewer, I knew that in the first few minutes of the first show. Given to the idea that one never gets a second opportunity to make a first impression, I tried the ‘new’ American Thunder several times in the hope that I was wrong, only to give it up in short order. So inadequate was the ‘new’ progrramming, I failed to even note that it had been subsequently pulled.

But, I did miss Jay and Michelle. That’s a ‘one-two punch’ that doesn’t come along often and I’ll never understand why the show’s decision makers pulled them. It’s just plain stupid! It makes no sense to fix that which isn’t broken.

I’m glad Jay and Michelle are back and I will watch every episode I can.

Glad to see Michele backand glad they dumped that STUPID Colby on American Thunder which was just an infomercial for a certain parts manufacturer. That show sucked!

Glad your back Michele i just found the new show i just quite watching after the Collby gig.

Could I get more information on those guys who pull the baffels out of the mufflers for better sound?

CONGRADULATION Jim and Michele on your new adventure. We had a little trouble trying to run down the information on the Discovery HD Channel about the air times for your new show. An update on their website (DISCOVER) may help.

Some people have no idea the work and dedication and comittment required to put a production of this magnitude together. You two are doing something that no one else is doing. Jealousy and inexperiance is demonstrated by those who don’t have the experiance or collective education you two bring to the table. We would like to thank both of you for the hard work your putting in.

Motorcycling is something we love and to be able to educate, entertain and share that with others is exactally what our industry needs. Keep up the good work! Look forward to seeing you guys in Sturgis.

    Good Thoughts Always,

I am so glad to have Michelle and Jay back. They are kinda Rubs but a hell of a lot better than the Survivor want to be.

  61. 61 the Rabbit Jun 23rd, 2010 at 10:33 pm

Actually the show is ho-hum boring. It’s only for the Geezer-Gliders who imagine Michelle as a younger hot babe. And Jack, he’s too much the yuppie, actually both are , to be taken seriously by any real bikers. If you want a hot babe , stick with Marissa Miller. If you want an older funny lady, go for Betty White. For straight guy, try “Dan Conner”

How do you get the producer of this show to look at a new product for the show? its a must have product for riders.

  63. 63 John Maracic Jun 27th, 2010 at 12:29 pm

Hi, can I get some information on the company that removed the baffles for the slip on mufflers for Harley Davidson? Also the show was GREAT!

I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT JAY MAKES THE SHOW HORRIBLE WITH HIS PATHETIC ATTEMPT AT BEING FUNNY. HE IS A WANNA BE MIKE ROWE, AND WILL NEVER BE EVEN HALF AS FUNNY OR REAL. JAY IS THE FAKEST DUDE IVE EVER SEEN AND I FEEL SORRY FOR HIM BECAUSE HE MAKES A FOOL OF HIMSELF ON NATIONAL TV…MICHELLE YOU ARE SO SEXY AND KEEP ON DOIN WHAT YOU DO. THANKS

  72. 72 Rich R. Jul 25th, 2010 at 8:36 am

Saw the show while looking for something to watch. Happy to see Michele back on the air with Jay. Good Luck.

Hey I really like the bike history and festival component of the show. The host are good and know a lot about the bikes. I wish the sleeze factor could be toned down a bit. Not all of us Harley riders identify with the low class stripper mentality that permeates the show. That said I hope the program is a success and has a long ride!!

  74. 74 Gary Aug 13th, 2010 at 12:17 pm

On your episode where you install the Progressive touring link you guys got it as totally backwards as is possible.

The orientation of your installed link is backwards with the male end attached to the frame bracket (the thicker female end goes there, with the thinner male bolted to the pan bracket) ‘and’ you placed the flat washers on the outside of the heim balls, under the SHCS, instead of between the heim balls and the mounting brackets.

It’s important to get it all right to eliminate binding and to prevent engine vibrations from being transferred to the frame.

There is an addendum sheet that comes with the Progressive link that describes the proper washer placement.

Possibly this addendum was not in your kit, and the main instruction pictures ‘do’ seem to have the washers (incorrectly) under the cap screw heads, so that may explain that part ….. but the 180º rotation of the link is all Two Wheeled Thunder.

Thought you might want to know ……..

    Gary

I have to say the show is really good. I take back what I said about Jay being a rub. He seems to be a stand up guy and he gets out and rides instead of just talking about it. He does a great job on the show and we all love Michelle.

  76. 76 John & Gina Aug 19th, 2010 at 6:52 pm

Whaaaaaat?????? …….”TRY” using younger woman????? Isn’t that what was tried when the Speed Channel’s “American Thunder” replaced Michelle Smith with those “younger bimbos”. First of all they knew NOTHING about bikes. ALL of their lines were scripted ….. like “WoW-Wee” …. “oh gosh” ….. look at that GREAT knucklehead….dah!!!!! Bringing in those girls was the “kiss of death” for AMERICAN THUNDER….. Younger isn’t better!!!!! BIKERS know when someone is “real” and truly loves bikes/choppers….. Michelle Smith is the “real deal”

  77. 77 Joe Johnson Aug 28th, 2010 at 11:40 am

Buttttttt, where is she? She doesn’t seem to be a permanent fixture to the show.

  78. 78 Anne Kaczmarek Sep 14th, 2010 at 10:04 am

Is the program still showing, as we can’t get it here in Illinois? What station, time and day????

    Was a serious watcher!

  79. 79 wayne Sep 28th, 2010 at 2:56 pm

Just as we started getting into the show it has disappearded, where is it, has it changed channels?

  80. 80 wayne Sep 28th, 2010 at 2:58 pm

It was one of the better bike shows out there, where did it go?

  81. 81 Bill Oct 9th, 2010 at 9:50 am

I agree, Jay is not a commedian nor is he a biker. I would call him a POSER. I read his book and he has his bike shipped to Sturgis, Daytona, everywhere he goes and this was even before he started the show, but he can sew on their patch to say he was there. The point of a biker is the ride there. I can not believe he has put 250,000 miles on a bike, knowing he ships his bike. Riders like him are why more and more laws are coming down on us. Getting drunk and driving with his buddies at dangerous speeds with disregard to the safety of other people. Don’t believe me, then read his book and you will see. You don’t have to buy it. Facts are facts. Michelle may be a nice person and she is beautiful, but rides with designer clothes behind the camera car, does not rate Queen of Motorcycles. Not what I have seen with real ladies that ride bikes. The show is better than OCC, because it shows and instructs on parts for bikes. I do not need the drama of Jerry Springer Show with Paul Sr and Jr.

  82. 82 Don Oct 29th, 2010 at 5:54 pm

Love you Michelle! You’re wonderful and I always enjoy watching you, but what is wrong with that Jay barbie dude. Someone needs to teach him how to shave and what in the world is wrong with his hair? A little personal hygiene wouldn’t hurt for crying out loud. Does someone have to look like that to ride a Harley, or does riding a Harley make you look like that?
Bring back American Thunder and Michelle, that Barbie dude has got to go.

  83. 83 Darrin Nov 11th, 2010 at 11:16 pm

i think Michelle and Jay are great, i dont think it matters what clothes they wear or if they didnt ride to every place they go ,i think they are promoting motorcycle riding and what a thrill it is to ride, i guess i havent seen the book on what it takes to be a biker, i know a lot of guys that put on alot of miles every day and every year that dont call themselves bikers, but probably wear out more Harley’s than you “bikers” so quit complainin, if you dont like it dont watch it! Also they would be crazy to try and replace Michelle with a younger spokeswomen she’s hot as hell, if it aint broke dont fix it,

I just watched my first episode of the new Two Wheel Thunder. I am so pleased to see Michelle and Jay back. I really missed this venue to see the new stuff on the market, FROM THE COMFORT OF MY HOME! Michelle is,,, to say the least,,, easy on the eyes, and Jay seems like,,,Well just a nice guy. These folks seem like someone I would enjoy hanging out with. I will continue to watch.

  85. 85 sam shager Jan 21st, 2011 at 8:23 pm

michelle and jay ? who the F@&K?? never heard of em. must be part of another offering from the cable network to entertain the huge “biker lite” crowd who sit and polish their chrome and plastic encrusted Geezer Glides while watching tv in their garage that has been modeled into some ’50s diner motife. What ever gotta go I got real bikes in a real shop that don’t need polishing just a little grinding, wrenching

  86. 86 TerryLicia Jul 30th, 2011 at 12:10 am

Today, bikes are for doctors, lawyers, CPA’s, PhD’s and welders, roughnecks, waiters, teachers, stock brokers, housewives, sixth graders, college kids and even grandpa’s and grandma’s! They’re for straight guys and gals, and gay folk, too! I know a few priests who love their two wheel thunder machines just as much as any Hells Angel riders! Banditos, bankers, Boy Scouts. Little League to the National Organization of Women. Politicians to poets. Little bitty kids, teens, young people, older adults, middle-aged and some real old-timers, who STILL race every weekend on some tough courses! I met a 70 year old man last year who rode in the Hoka Hey race from Key West FL to Homer, Alaska! He looked pretty terrific at the big party at the end of the road, off the grid. BIKES ARE FOR EVERYONE!

Now, if we could just get AUTO DRIVERS to move over and quit killing and maiming all of us, we’d be in fine shape!

As for me, I’m in love with those new little three wheelers that cost about $2500, and that’s with all the bells and chimes. Why? I am disabled nowadays, but nowadays, bikes are made available for us, too and without extraordinary effort or cost. And how about those snazzy, safe side cars?! GREAT for hauling fire wood .. and grandkids! 😀 Like I said, BIKES ARE FOR EVERYONE! Young, old, perfectly abled, disabled, on road and off, gleaming or rusted, old or new, in the city, in the country or even in the wilderness … bikes are the best! And BIKERS? We are the finest brothers and sisters, of every color, age and heritage known – and THAT is why I think bikes are the multifaceted glue that binds us all together to make a truly fabulous, holistic, egalitarian culture!

BLUE SKIES EVERYONE …. KEEP on SMILING, KEEP on RIDING ….
