Steve Twist studies Visualisation at the Bournemouth University. To get his undergraduate degree, he conceived this animation. I never been a fan of of robot transformers but I must admit his work is amazing. He took him 8 months (about same as a one-off high-end custom bike) to produce this amazing short video.
