As promised, I feature the new version of Performance Machine Contour Belt Drive that I admired this weekend at the Indianapolis Dealers Expo . Many “one-off” Contrast Cut versions of the PM primary have been featured on PM custom bikes in the past couple years. So, by popular demand, PM has decided to offer a production version of their Contour Belt Drive Primary in Contrast Cut finish. The same quality internals are housed in black with carved aluminum windows in the primary covers exposing raw aluminum edges. Its look will match the other Contrast Cut parts offered by PM: brakes, controls, wheels. The PM Primary fits all 1991 through 2008 HD Softails and many customs. It will set you back $3,699.95. Beautiful, american and expensive.
As good as this belt drive looks in the pic, it still doesn’t do it justice—you must see in person. Luckily I had the opportunity and it’s incredible. It looks like an incredibly elegant watch—just like something you would have to have on your wrist this one you must have on your bike.
A top shelf product. Elegant, different and classy. I want one!
