Neon is an art form which is both delightfully kitsch and contemporary. Almost seventy-five years after its invention in France, and historic entry into America (the first neon signs were imported by businessman Earle C. Anthony), neon has become a popular medium for post-modern artists. No surprise logo neon signs are used by a lot of famous custom builders to welcome you inside their shops. If you ask one of these motorcycle builders who was in charge to shape glass tubes to form their logo, they will give you the name of Atti Bethlenfalvy from Get Bent Neon Works. I know the guy. He is a master at his craft and loves challenges like shaping my own tribal logo. He always proposes an initial concept or start from your original logo if you have one. Then full size patterns are drawn up. All the glass is free handed using a variety of torches (more in his shop than in mine) to form different bends. Since neon signage reads from the front and is a 3 dimensional tube, bending is done in reverse, and generally upside down. Depending on brand, the glass starts out in 4′-5′ sticks. Once the glass ‘unit’ has been completed, it still doesn’t light up! That involves processing, in which all the impurities are cooked out of the tube under vacuum, then backfilled with inert gas and sealed off. I told you it is Art. A few names using his talent: Choppers Inc, Exile, Hank Young. Detroit Brothers, Chopsmiths, etc and your writer who still wonder which colors to pick for his own shop logo neon sign. I have to agree. Atti is no to be trusted for any reason. The list of people here in Cleveland and around the country looking to collect from the guy is pretty amazing. Neon paid for and never delivered, stolen scooters, thousands in back rent owed to several land lords after eviction… My own personal experience was pretty tame compared with the dozen or so people I have had contact with about the guy so far. Most recently he took a rather hefty deposit from a Tattoo shop in Akron Ohio, just under a felony amount (nicely played), and vanished. Might have been his recent trip to the Lake County Jail for child support… who knows. The guy has obvious talent, too bad he’s a scum bag.

I am a little concerned, I gave this guy some money for a car he was supposed to deliver to me.
It have been several months now, no car, doesn’t respond to calls or emails.

He is unwelcome in the city of Cleveland after all the trouble he has made here and we’re glad he left for Austin Texas after he got out of jail. He’s an absolute con man and a complete sociopath.

This guy has a lot of problems with communication.
As far as saying i was EVER in a relationship with him …
I was completely mislead on who this guy truly was.
I admit now. I was never anything more than a faceless screw.
I honestly thought he was a great guy in the beginning till i saw

I’ve forgiven all debt that he owes. But I was VERY outspoken
about him and the way he deals with people. He is very rude and unkind
when facing a problem with you. He has lost my respect. He has none for hisself.
I feel sorry for this character cause he so good at lying, I think he actully believes it.
As far as dealing with him in any manner of buisness, he is a joke!
