Passion for custom American cars and motorcycles decided Australian born Shaun Ruddy to make the big move from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to Las Vegas, Nevada. A fully certified Fabrication Engineer, Spray Painter & Panel Beater in his native country of Australia he and wifey already owned and operated a full motorcycle building shop and a custom parts and accessories retail store. In their frequent travels to the US, they both noticed that there seemed to be an amazing array of vehicles that would suit the Australian Market. So, they decided to stay in North America, settling in Las Vegas to build bikes under the name of Phat Choppers and also exporting down under, under the name of Phat Ridez, the best custom vehicles they could find.
I am not sure why Shaun Ruddy chose a Jawa Motorcycle from the Czech Republic as his platform for this project. As a matter of fact, he doesn’t matter to me. If I feature “Toe Cutter” it’s because it’s an interesting customization exercise for a great result on a small budget, offering 494 cc of city fun and turning heads everywhere it goes. Youngsters love it and if it brings a few new bikers to the scene, mission accomplished… Phat Choppers www.phatchoppers.biz

Really cute.
JAWA’s make great ice racers but the spikes are supposed to be on the tires.
Way cool. If you don’t understand don’t bother to ask. ..Z
Toe cutter? I think something else is in more danger! Cute bike
reminds me of the hustler bike . The spikes dont do it for me at all
Zipper said it best!
TOE CUTTER..WAS THE GANG LEADER IN THE ORIGINAL MAD MAX FILM..FROM DOWN UNDER. BUT THEIR BIKES WERE FLAT BLACK KZ1000 AND GS 1000 CAFE’ STYLE BANDIT BIKES…BUT WAY COOL JAWA
BEAUTIFUL !
Take that bike to El Mirage and Bonneville.
Sensational Shaun, another masterpiece of imagination and fabrication.
Knucklehead said it best commenting that Zipper saidit best!
i had 2 Jawa’s 250 6 volt and 350 12 volt lots fun they was all kick start , the shifter was part of the clutch that was good to get a bike doing wheelie
The likelihood of being impaled while riding this bike is ok in my book! I wanna ride it! peace
What a load of rubbish. A near standard Speedway solo desecrated with a stupid petrol tank and even more stupid pike nuts. It’s a damned shame that such a beutiful, purposeful machine be ruined by these so-called “custom” add ons.
Please excuse my previous spelling as I was apoplectic with rage about this travesty.
Hmmnnn . . . That’s a bit disappointing. I saw this bike in Sturgis and was pretty impressed. Seeing it again on this blog led me to make the effusive comments above. Then, after reading Septic the Sceptic’s comment I researched the model. Prior to this I was not familiar with these bikes really and thought there was a lot more customization that had been done. Now having viewed some images of stock Speedways I realize how little has been done compared with what I had thought. So I’d like to publicly recant saying ‘masterpiece of imagination and fabrication’. However, I still quite like it and still give kudos to Shaun for not being afraid to try something different.
sorry guys, it doesnt really do it for me, not overall. but ,the concept and originality is fine. i im afraid i agree with septic on this one ! if theyre thinkin of sales 4 this bike in oz,,,,,, think again ! no offence.
well at least the Blonde is good lookin !
