Of course, if you dumped big dollars to roll on a 30” front wheel, you don’t want to use a cheap fiberglass or plastic fender.
Here comes Fat Katz, a custom sheet metal leader, with its new offering, a model called the Tombstone 30, born from a brand new tooling and formed out of 13 gauge cold roll steel.
Designed to offer a full awesome 180-degree coverage and protection. Starting at $600. Fat Katz.

!

Why? Just Why?
loos just like B-COOL FENDER
I think I will do a front wheel that looks like those old bicycle deals. What is that about a 50 inch or so… This is now ridiculous and useless
Looks good Don.
“Thug Cycles”, always have to have your opinion on items. I’m shocked you didn’t say that you can builf better or built one just like it last week, with your one build a year. Cut the shit, we know you’re a joke.
Cool wheel…. cool fender……….. just make it “normal”, rideable, safe………………… This whole trend seems to have gone from the 360-380- 3 foot wide rear ends, to sky scrapper tall front ends? To each its own..
Agree.Stupid to go taller and taller in front end.
BTW: I like the style of the wheel and the brakedisc!
Does anybody know which company made it and what’s the style called?
Thanks.
13 gage will make it plenty sturdy. Fat Katz is some quality stuff.
Is this a movie prop?
@ Conrad – Don’t get your comment. I have had custom fab work done by Bourget, Trotta and Thug. Tom is an excellent fabricator. I know he built 3 baggers this year, the most recent just painted by Bones who does Eddie’s bikes. He also runs a full service shop totally hands on. If you have a personality issue, leave it at the door – this is not a forum for that.
Peace
CONRAD… REALLY?? TELL YOUR DAD HE BUILDS NICE BIKES… NOW TAKE OUT HIS TRASH LIKE A GOOD BOY… PENCIL PUSHER…
Whhhheeewww. everybody is touchy, and I think as long as we are spreading the Word of the Industry and making a couple of clean and truthful comments,………..then Conrad you are good to go and lay a few digs on the “THUGSTER” ! I love that Wheel and the Fender is as nice as it gets for that install. I thinkthat I could do more with the $ 6 G’s for the Fender/Wheel Combo.I THINK THE BAGERS THAT THUGSTER BUILT HAD STOCK MOTORS AND IT IS A GOOD THING THAT THEY COULD RUN AFTER THE FINE BUILD!
Man I am far outside of any loops where guys spend $2000+ on a front wheel set-up but if you got that kinda cabbage for your rim and tire then a 13 gauge fender from Fatkatz would be the only way to go.
Conrad….
You got it going on kid…blow some back at there asses. These thugs don’t even know what the power force of gyroscopic inertia is…let alone a tire that may blow in your face at any moment at speed….but you do and your father does.
Get with the ol man.. do a “boulevard cruiser” with him and, if you like, we can do a bar hopper on testosterone and steroids that will really flex….if you don’t know already…he will what I am talking about an stick ‘em up the wazoos at the Rat’s Hole like pros…not thugs!
Boss Hawg
can,t we all just get along
ha
lol @ cyclereckr
Now you know that is just not possible.
Boss Hawg
The Fender is Perfect for that Wheel! It looks like it is a Factory set andthis is the only Fender for that Wheel! Is the Wheel $2 grand or is it $ 6 grand? Is a “Thugster” same as a “Gangster” ?
How are these tall wheels not smashing bagger fairings? There’s like zero clearance.
this industry is unreal some days and its own worst enemy with these ?????? wheel & tire sizes & trends……. from 98 to 2005 we had the 180 200 240 300 330 360 rear tire craze ………. so know its 21 23 26 30 front wheels….do guys actually ride these bikes anywhere??
Conrad dust off the LV shoes and ceyah in 3.5 weeks lol
On the subject of big wheels, anyone know a supplier of full 3D banks like the old AMT ones? AAW are just 2D.
What happened to AMT anyway?
Keep pushing the envelope. It only gets better. Great show piece.

if you spend the money on a 30″ wheel, a 3d one-off wheel is really the only way to go, and as far as Fenders go, It’s a matter of preference, I live the look of the factory style H-D fender, but a steel version would weigh a ton, as for the “wrap-around” style fenders, Randy @ B’Cool has made the the perfect fender and perfected it over the last few years of working with him… (actually he nailed it on the first shot) Guys like Randy, and myself have been at the fore front of this big-wheel trend since day one, so If I can offer any advice when making a purchase such as this, stick with the originators, the creators, be unique, don’t copy, and build a true piece of art…
007 … none of or motors our stock unless the customer wants it that way…boss hawg…. why dont you build something?? @ DOUG AMEN BROTHER …
@ Thug….Been there, done that. Paint looks great, but the run is over…wake up and play.

Have fun and enjoy…at least I know what gyroscopic inertia, suspension and braking forces are.

I know Fat Katz and they are a great company and their fenders are affordable and heavy gauge. I am not interested in 30″ wheels but take a look at their site and see for yourselft. I am running one on a 21 and am very pleased. Way to go Fat Katz, I hope you get some publicity from your efforts.
