Bobby, usually $18,000 bikes have china written all over them!

Looks like hes using great quality components and a lot of American made companies. Tauer, Jaybrake, Baker, S&S, HHI…etc

I Can Build A Better Sweeter Bike For Way Cheaper Then That You Guys Are Suckers!!!!!

  7. 7 cooldaddy51 Jun 27th, 2010 at 7:48 am

Okay guys here are the facts . You have to make a buck (and a lot more to stay in the business).
Sure you can build it for cheaper but sit down and do a real build sheet. You know what that is. Its what we who have been doing this professionaly have to have to keep track of component costs so you can duplicate the product ,figure your acceptible margins , figure what you have to meet for overhead and yes make that all elusive PROFIT!! You guys who are one bike wonder garage builders should not even comment on what it takes to put out a quality machine, BACK IT WITH A WARRANTY , and do it over and over again! You can build it cheaper but not with these components and once again MAKE A PROFIT! Take this little piece of info from a guy who has been doing it successfully for 37 years and backing all of our bikes with a WARRANTY and service!
SOUTH SIDE KUSTOMS, great job! Nice bike at a fair price!

Mmmm ,vintage bobbers talks about 3large a month in overhead .try north of that in a week! Were
not on the same planet bunky. And by the way my main bike of pride is a 51 Pan/shovel ,66 heads,69 pump nice cam, balanced lower, flowed upper with a mikuni with a pumper fitted up from a holley 4 barrel. I call it my modified antique. Would be an intertesting run your 58 against my 51 .
But then I don;t play for free. 3 large is a good wager! See Yah! Or maybe not! LOL LOL

Thank You to cooldaddy51, you hit the nail on the head. There is a mistake though we offer this bike with the Baker 6 speed. Mistake both here and on my site. Like cooldaddy51 says we have overhead, inssurance, etc etc. – if you look at others and what they offer, this one is competively priced with choices and a warranty. Also comes with all your D.O.T. regulations like speedo, brake light and directionals. This one pictured is for raffle, and will be drawn July 31st 2010 see our site for all the details.
