All i can say if you havent been and your thinking of it go ,go ,go,go,the show is great the japanese are cool they do what they want and dont care what anybody thinks wich is how i think it should be .I think they need two days i could have stayed in the car park all day to the bikes are crazy loved it will be back next year for certain.. By the way Danny i think you done the european builders proud nice bike man well done.

I think how Moon Eyes got started was with the Late Dean Moon and Moon racing products in Santa Fe Springs Ca. I’m sure you all have seen the logo with the yellow moon and the big eyes. Dean Moon, before he died, sold the company to a Japanese guy who was also his best friend.The Japanese guy still has the shop in Ca. as well as in Yokohama, Japan.
I grew up and went to the same school with Dean Moons kids in Whittier Ca. Moon was a big deal back then as it still is today.
I also have relatives in Yokohama and I’d like to visit them and do the Moon Eyes show at the same time one day that would be so cool.

And now we know where all our cool stuff has gone!!! I guess we will have to go and buy it back or maybe we could influence them into just giving it back. You know they should all be speaking english!!! I guess we where just sick and tired!!

Simple the best, amazing show, original bikes, cars and people.
Definitely Japanese bikers have they own style.

incredible the american influence in japan…coolness available for export..as you guys can see the yen is strong and the dollar is weak..you know roland didnt go their on his own dime or cole or gibbons..it looked like a bike and rod show should look enthusiastic fans..full show floor..cool bikes and rods (especially the american graffiti duece and shoebox) just an awesome scene..too bad rent is so high or i would move my shop..oh yeah the language barrier..hmmm maybe get rosetta stone japanese for next xmas! happy holidays and kudos to the guy or girl who put the video together..good emotion

Can someone please share with us the history of “Mooneyes”. When I hear the term, the first word that comes to mind is COOOOL!

I am also wondering why many of these custom bike events seem to take place overseas. I live in Shreveport, LA and use to be ale to look forward to the Dallas Easyrider show, but now that there is no Dallas show, I am not sure where to turn.
