Thank God for Sir John Harrington, Alexander Cummings, and Thomas (John) Crapper, and all the rich people that spent the money first to have the best first. If everyone was poor no body would benefit. The capitalist system has helped the USA become the greatest nation in history. All we have to do is keep it going and enforce justice on the corruption that is killing it.

Remember in recent history just a few years ago plasma screen TVs were 20k+. Now you can get 1 for a few hundred bucks.

There are Fords and Chevrolets and then there are Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce ….. in short there is an ass for every seat. The high end car companies, for example, have not reported a drop in sales while we all know what has happened to GM and Chrysler. People with the $$$ do not accept the “it is fairly comfy for the money theory” nor do they want to know “how much is the payment” … they just write a check. This is the group that the Roehr bike will appeal to and I have no doubt that the bike will sell well. Likewise, the Kaw ZX-14 will do well with their price point and the “less mature” age group of riders the bike is directed toward. No offense intended toward the ricers out there.

I think BMW has the right idea for 2010. They are known somewhat as an over priced “nice” bike to some… And they are in there own right, if your into that. But BMW’s new Super bike “sport bike” has allot of great equipment similar to Ducati for about $13,500 with all the name brand goodies. Ill give credit where credit is due, and I have to give major props to an AMERICAN company to go for it with an American engine aswell. Congratulations is due! But in that same sentence we will not soon see the Roehr American Superbike line up in the super bike shoot out in all the magazines. Not that this is overly important to many, but I do feel its covered in just about every super bike mag and has TONS of unpaid advertising to the company around the world through Internet and press. Some would argue that someone like Ducati is not in the shoot aswell. I would agree, but I think that the Italian maker has been been breathing the rarefied air near Ferrari for many years and has a race proven success to get what they got……. let me step down from my soap box now before I brake my leg

I think you would be shocked at the number of people with $44K in discretionary income today. There are many, many people making tons of money in today’s economic environment …. this is the time to make money, it is a buyer’s market!

Yes, that is true. Hopefully, there will be some wealthy motorcycle enthusiasts that are willing to jump in, and get the ball rolling. Producing 5 or 10 motorcycles is an ENORMOUS undartaking, and complying with epa and safety regs must have been a nightmare. Like anything, the more they produce – the lower the cost. Hopefully they can make a go of it, and one day I might even be able to own one.
