Big Deal!!! People have been doing back flips on bikes for years. Now they are even doing double back flips over 100′ gaps. Just because it is on a HD does not make it spectacular. So what the bike is heavier. The ramp is what makes the back flip work, and the bike does the work. The rider just holds it up right and pulls back on the bars. Whoopi! Watch the X games sometimes and see all kinds of tricks. Didn’t notice too many Aussies on the podium.

cyril you are very correct!! it is a fail if you dont land it and ride away from it!!” otherwize known as an attempt”ask any FMXer spicce you may have been around harley’s along time but it dosn’t mean you know jack about FMX!!this bike is not the same bike used by Seth for the long distance attempt there are 2 bikes one with the flash suspension and the one that Kain flipped wich is very mild and very close to stock and was never intended to do a flip!, if you have take a close look on youtube you can see Kain’s bike had stock v-rod rear shocks I should know I bolted them on! You see spicee it dosnt matter what you say or think, because the first time anyone in the world pulled of a backflip landed it and rode it away was Kain Saul from Austrailia and ya carnt steal the thunder from downunder

Spicee. I am sorry if my answer was incomplete and not correctly formulated? Did Chuck Carothers fell at landing? Yes. Kain Saul didn’t. It makes all the difference. A record jump is considered successful when you don’t fall at landing or it is qualified as a stunt. Did Chuck jump 40 ft? Nobody seems to know. Do you know? So I stand by my writing.

Cyril maybe you should look on YouTube before u respond back because I have Been around harleys my whole life and know what one looks like and he even thanks Harley davidson after the jump!! So do at least a little investigation before u post stuff!! I feel like I was reading the shitty american newspaper stories for a second there!! Not to bag on u I love your insight on the bike world and the up to date info thanks for the good work we all make simply easy to fix mistakes!!

The ‘guy with the beard’ is Gavin Walker, owner of Quick Fix Harley-Davidson in Mildura, Victoria, Australia. His son Jack has jumped a distance of …. no, let’s wait for the officials to witness his distance before we reveal it. But, it isn’t the knobbly tires that make this bike so special, it is the specially developed suspension which has never been done in quite this manner before and I understand the guys have a patent on it. Take another look at the length of those forks and the rear shockers!
