hoyt
"""HD could have something like this in dealerships by 2011 if they wanted (maybe earlier). It seems like it would take little investment.""""

I and many cycle enthusiasts will never appreciate or respect a copy-cat company.
Mac Motorcycles has a dream. I wish a big oversized company like HD does not challenge their dream.

I wish Mac Motorcycles the best in their endeavor and hope they learn from the mistakes of others.
I hope more small companies take more risks and give the world more variety instead of one company with the same designers turning out the same thing over and over...........

God bless the inventor, the (original) designer, the risk taker, and the defenders of our freedom, and we will always be blessed in return.

if you read the article, you will find that these are designs for a start up company. Any MC company is going to need a design before production. Else, whatever is produced will look cobbled together. Lets hope they get some into production although I'm not in the market for anything new.

Nice CAD work, but since they seem to have never even built a prototype or started on one for any of their "product range", have no production facilities or even any staff I am sure this is nothing more than vaporware.

You should go to the web site and look at the other bikes they have on there. I am wondering if there are any actual bikes done or what? I am also wondering what the price points are on their collection of bikes?

Gorgeous bikes and there's nothing quite like a perfect fusion of vintage and modernity. The frame looks like it was inspired by the Confederate Wraith. Excellent work and congrats to Mac Motorcycles.

Seems to me a bit like they took the front of a Monstro or a Raptor and the back of a Moped.
It has something from the motorcycles back in the sixties.

But personaly, I don't think café-racer-addicts would call this a café racer.
I agree wlth Lyle and see it more as a streetfighter.

I really like the designs, but I would like them even more if I'd seen any sign of a prototype bike rather than simply a number of CAD drawings with different cosmetics. The last I heard after the supply of Buell Blast engines suddenly ceased was that MAC had redesigned using a Yamaha XT660 engine. I would really like to see them succeed.

Well they are looking better after the re-design (more retro?) than when you first posted info on this company back in on June 1st. I know they were planning on using the Buell Blast engine, which might not be a sensible long term plan.
Thanks for the link John, I went to www.mac-motorcycles.co.uk - and found a nice old fashioned motorbike shop selling Kyomo's in Tooting South London.

Wow, usually I'm wondering why so many OTHERS are making negative comments..........so now everyone seems to like this one and I think it's just silly looking. Seriously, I can't think of a single good thing to say about the bike other than liking some of the pieces. So much so I'd put a bunch of the pieces back in their boxes and back on the shelf ;)
Guess all my teachers were right, I need help ;D
