I always enjoy the Nespresso when I'm in the EU, but getting the pods here is pain in the arse. I went to the fully automatic Pasquini model which produces unbelievable thick crema. Yeah it was expensive, but there are a few things I will not skimp on good coffee, good beer and a good mechanic!

Cyril I have been using a Cimbali Junior bought 2nd hand from a restaurant for about five years now. Get beautiful brown froth on my morning espresso, along with wonderful cappucinos. Machine is hooked to water supply and it is on 24/7. Have a Cimbali conehead grinder to make the perfect grind each day. Then I enjoy your blog with my coffee in hand.

For those that don't like that much caffeine, you can buy sugar-free Mocha by the case and get free shipping.
Low-salt, 35 calories. Great stuff.

Plus, (starts lying now) ) I installed risers and ape hangers on my Krupss and have the milk "frother" steam valve connected to the right twist-grip, so I can "steam" without my eyes leaving the road.

French Roast seems to be the strongest dark-roast bean on earth, much deeper flavor than Espresso roast, imo.

Nice machine. Sleek like. Looks cool, but will it create perfect brown froth?? :)

I have always used a Krups (as shown) until I burn out the heating element (which so far I have been unable to do. I've left the heat switch on for a full day and half-days, and it never melted down or caught on fire).

It looks like a clunker, but it's cheap and does the job. 50 bucks.
