Sniperman; I think you may be missing the point. This bike is a concept bike, they never said they would mass produce it. But you can bet that if they did release a bike simular to this concept it would handle just fine and there would be people that would buy them. Every auto manufacture does concept cars. There main purpose is so that the company can gauge whether or not the public would buy such items. I think Victory may soon be in the business of building semi-custom crotch rockets and doing well at it.the. But the design is what I was talking about. The frame design not having down tube in the front makes it different from all the others. I think that it is a great looking design all thou I would agree that it would not sell well to the public as a rigid. It is however a lot closer to a design the young riders would appreciate than bikes like the V-Rod. You may not like Victory as a company but that and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee. As far as you saying the v-star is so much better than a victory, well that is just your opinion. There are riders of Victory's all over the country that would disagree with you . You say that Victory is in a tough spot and their designs don't sell but yet I keep seeing more and more of them showing up at Sturgis, Daytona and panama beach they show up all over the country at rallies. More and more every year. That tells me someone is buying them. I have also noticed that HD was the bike you would see at all the rallies twenty years ago, but today they make up maybe 40 percent if they are lucky. That also tells a story for those that can see the writing on the wall. And just so you know Victory is rated the number one bike for dependability. I would say that speaks for its self. They may not be the biggests yet, but they are gaining every day.

What did Forest Forest Gump used to say:........................... "Stupid is........ Stupid Does"

Building a production rigid with one "heavy ass powerplant" is not a very smart thing to do......I'm sure that it will ride just great with minimal vibration and so on.

I really don't think that Victory will ever mass produce this bike. They possibly might consider a "special order" type of arrangement. However, their sales numbers will be next to nothing. If they do go the mass route, they will get what they deserve.

In reality, a Victory is a heavy, metric like, wanna be American V-Twin that lacks identity. In other words....' a psychiatrist" dream". It's in the range of a V-Star, except that a V-Star will run circles around it from styling to performance and personality as well........and that's not saying much.

Victory is in a very tough spot..........they have yet to establish a "true identity". As of now, they keep on "experimenting" with their designs and concepts as the Core. They are becoming 'media whores" with ridiculous attempts such as these. Their designs look like transformers of the 3rd kind to say the least. Actually, they follow their powersports look. They need a new CEO with a true motorcycle background and for him to go in and implement a different type approach. They have been going at it for over 10 years and they are no further now than they were back then since their inception.

They lack personality, vision and styling.

Stick to snowmobiles and ATV's....they have done a great job there.

Sorry boys.....truth hurts.

Jeff; I believe you are right Victory will be the largest American made motorcycle soon. As HD loses market share Victory is working hard at gaining that share. I beleive HD's biggest problem is they have created this legend that revolves around their fifty year old designs and people are moving forward as the legend is left behind. Another way to put it is their customers are dying of old age. If HD does not create a bike for the younger riders they will be done sooner rather than later. I personally have always enjoyed riding my HD's but must admit they are dinosaurs compaired to other brands. I also think that it does not help HD's cause to promote the bad boy image, those days are gone. Most people that own HD's today are professionals not Bad Boys. Maybe they should use an ad campaign like Honda did forty years ago. May be you would remember it
" You meet the nicest people on a Honda"
worked out pretty well for Honda I would say.
Generally speaking the bad boys don't have the expendable cash, it is the so called yuppies that make the big dollars. And as a wise man once told me ( chase the money you have a chance at getting ) Being a business man I am sure you fully understand that concept. I don't understand why HD has no problem copying custom builders but they seem to refuse to copy the japanese who are kicking their asses when it comes to building bikes the young people want. Don't they understand that HD can build a crotchrocket that has a engine just like the jap bikes have? Yamaha builds v-twins and crotchrockets so does Honda and Suzuki. It is like the lights are on but no one is home over there at HD. Well that is my opinion and it is worth what I charged you for it so there you go.
Have a great holiday.

Wow, congratulations on a new Confederate Motors model by Victory. I was not aware that designers from the two companies were collaborating. Shouldn't it be called the Victory Confederate or the the Victory Core by Confederate?

Clean, smooth lines complement a beautiful, uncluttered motor.
Well done Mr Song...!!!

Something from Street-tracker, Super-moto, and Cafe-racer......
That look is back in................... :-)

Hell...... might even interest kids who grew up on metric performance bikes (??).

The corporate design "Vision" that Just My Opinion references above is exactly what will someday soon allow Victory to kick Harley Davidson into a corner and walk on by! Said it before and now said it again! Hide and watch!
