Angry Inch,
That is exactly what they are, made for big twin or sportster, belt or chain drive, and that is a differential rear axle with brakes. Good stuff, easy to mount and provides a solid platform for custom bodywork if you choose to make some.

Are the attached pics just a couple stock Harley's with a trike kit?

That being said, I agree, they are nice looking. The chosen rims both set the rear off nicely.

Congratulations Alan. How Santiago Choppers never got featured on Biker Build Off while more than a few small time builders did so, puzzles me to this day. Oh well, Hugh King's loss. Wishing you great success with your European sales. And to everyone else, listen closely to Cyril when he speaks as he often throws out some pearls of wisdom.

Have to agree with the thrust of this post. Europe looks like one of the only real markets for big bikes. Asia seems like another one. As most small builders know, the problem is passing the Euro 3 emissions standards. At the risk of a shameless plug, my company has worked with Lauge Jensen of Denmark to produce a solution. We have combined a 107 Ultima engine with LJ's proprietary catalytic converter and our Pegasus EFI system to create a kit that has passed the Euro 3 tests. Lauge Jensen is putting it on its own line of custom bikes and is offering it for sale to other builders. The nice thing is that, even though it passes the tests, it still rides with the kind of horsepower and throttle response heavyweight riders expect.
