The 2010 Viper Diamondback

ViperDiamonbackYou need good news and the introduction of the second generation Diamondback cruiser from Viper Motorcycle Company shows that a manufacturer with a conservative approach, good marketing sense and a niche market (the performance cruising market) can still be viable in the worst economic climate we have ever experienced during our lifetime. The 2010 Diamondback is a joint venture with Ilmor Engineering, the sick 152″ V-Twin requiring to be massaged by the best engine specialists in the business to become the main sales pitch for this custom cruiser.

And don’t worry too much about  such a beast powering your bike. Viper included a proprietary engine vibration damping system that the company claims gives the Diamondback a much smoother ride than other V-Twins with many less cubic inches. Noteworthy to mention are the carbon fiber body (total weight is 610 lbs.), an on-the-fly adjustable air ride suspension system, an adjustable seat (down to 24″), easy adjustable foot controls, all LED’s lights, a sporty inverted adjustable front end, 6-speed transmission, hydraulic clutch, a 21″ front and 18″ 260/40-18 rear wheel/tire setup. Wheelbase is 71″ on a frame with a 34-degree rake (5-degree triple tree). For now the Diamondback is sold through selective Dealers and is not exported. Viper Motorcycle Company.

I never saw one in person, but saw their Ads and I saw where they were doing a Promo for about, I believe, don’t hold me to it, but a $10,000 Disc. That would make it around $25 K. This Bike Looks like real quality and seems to be gorgeous. I don’t think they were at the Race Track in Daytona a month ago, but I could have missed them. I flew in for the Day only. I wonder if there are any around Lauderdale, Cyril This has to be the Fastest Bike around,(V-Twin) maybe even Built by any of the Heavyweights, Included ! ! think even Jessie would dig this RIDE !
