RE:
"... this one-of-a-kind commemorative bike ..."

No...... we had the same conversation over HD's XR replica-NOT.

Although this Triumph DOHC motor is a technology improvement over Ed Turner's classic twin, it sure would have been more "McQueen-like" to put together a smaller, lighter version of their big-crank-jurnal, push-rod twin of the 1980's, with that production 4-Valve Westlake head.

Oh ya, and put it in a Track-mater or Chaney frame..... :-)

Now THAT they could legitimately call a "one-of-a-kind."

Steve McQueen honored? Steve McQueen's name exploited for lucre. That's OK. Just say what it is.

Cyril, Why make it in (Limited) production? Does everthing have to be out of the reach of the regular working guy? Why not make it a small premium for the paint and let everyone that wants one have a chance at getting it. I like Steve McQueen and the Lemans movie and even though it's not the Same as in those days of the late 60's and 70's I still would love to go to Lemans. You have probably seen alot of the Races there. Maybe you should write a Book on your life in France and then in the USA.
