If someone wealthy wants to create a forum, and let me control all of the postings, we can pull the '36-59 OHV market out of it's doldrums.
A repop association doesn't exist today, (ask a first year psych student why), but if some principal women connected to these companies listed below will contact me, I will work with them, since they have more brains for organization than men. Plus women are tuned into buying things. They understand what makes the herd move.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I need to be budgeted with a large sum of money, with the only restriction being that I account for every nickle spent. The cash-donor can get his money back through a slush fund creted from the participating manufacturer's of the parts we buy.
The cash donor can control all of the money and keep me on a spending leash.
One quick project at a time will take place, under the donor's decision supervision.
First project would be a KNUCKLE & PANHEAD to 1959 website, to prove an established market. Using the information provided by Stett http://stettsironhorseranch.com/
If I don't know something about 1936-1959 OHV, he will tell me and I will post the info.
I have reams of illustrated info on 1955-1957 replica Knuckle & Pan at http://flatheadpower.com/ and http://hyrdra-glide.com/

I can copy the info from each site and put it on the new Knuckle & Pan site - as a builder's base of information. We'll expound on both Vol's 1 & 2, and post the supporting mfgrs.
related parts, and develop build-up's from all of the already existing repop parts. It will be easy for me to organize.
The 49 state's builders have to be shown how to navigate through the 1955-57 repop maze. Stett & I have already blazed an easy trail for people to follow.
Think about the growth potential here, not about today's down market. I have an accounting background.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
• 61 & 74 cu. in. OHV is encouraged on the site.
• Hopped-up motors are discouraged.
• Antique'rs are tolerated.
•No Flathead.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
These manufacturer's build the parts for 1955-1957 OHV:
One of the corporate women can decide who will lead and make some contacts in my name, to:
• S&S® (Viola branch).
• V-Twin®, Inc (good luck), but I have a lady's name and e-dress for you.
• Primo® Belt
• Paughco
They might make some lightweight contributions.
It would take a larger manufacturer like, J.C. Whitney, Inc. who makes sells our thrifty 5:10 x 16 tires, or an oil company.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The "look" people want to see, imo, is a layered, depth-of-field motorcycle.

Chrome was right during the 70's. Times and tastes have changed Bu'wana.

Instead of a chrome star hub, use a V-Twin® parkerized star hub (with grease fittings on the hub and star cover). That's a "buried detail" for someone eyes to find.
Laced w/ stainless spokes on a thick-chromed Perma-rim.

People will stare at your machine and find the detail on their own. Interest will develop, because on the site will have a list and recommendation on 74" OHV build's and corrections.

Buy a silent Bestway® pillar lift and keep your pony, covered, 6" off the ground, waiting for you. They're easy to install in your garage floor. Vol. 1 shows you how.

Peace - and all that goes with it.

It would be nice if the drum flange were moved in a taste so the wheel hub would clear that assembly for easier wheel removal.

Something HD should-a done, but didn't.......... :-(

At least their brake shoes fit their drum. Chrome is lame. Black painted is true-grit - when you can find it.
