It has always been a pleasure working with Dain and I have always found him to be a straight up guy. I’ll never forget the test ride we did, old Indian vs new Indian. My old 1948 Kiwi powered Indian made it to Vegas. Had to leave the new Indian on the side of the road in 115 deg heat in BF Egypt. Good times mate. Let’s squeeze in some more fun rides. How about Death Valley.

I’ll sure miss Dain; I always thought he led the magazine in the same direction that Dennis would have wanted. Personally, I’d hate to see Ironworks “spooled up” into another Hot Bike or Easyrider wannabe, but I guess I’m more concerned about a good read than producing a profitable marketing vector. DK. To read a magazine on the throne is very disgusting, very unhealthy, a redneck habit. So, it’s good to know that you could not go there with your laptop to write your comment. Folllowing your statement, the only argument that print magazines have to keep readers is to say in an ad campaign “We are the only one that can read on the throne. Dump your laptop”. You are very dumb.and hope that your brother working in a magazine is brighter than you.

I know how tough the magazine business is right now because my brother works for one that has been in business since 1936. The internet, declining ad sales and the overall economy is making it tough for all of them. It sure is hard to read the laptop when you are on the throne.
