Man, did you see the truck after the accident? Even if he had wanted to flee the scene the truck could not have been his tool of escape. Lane would have had to run away on foot and being drunker than a rat that would have been fun to watch! He sure as hell couldn’t have gotten far.

Recovery is what it is all about? You Know one THING THAT NOBODY HIT ON ! In all the Month’s and Month’s and Blogs and Bloggers, that Show’s Billy’s Genuine Character and that is AT LEAST HE DIDN’T HIT AND RUN! He new what he was Facing when he heard the Human Flesh and Bones hit the Truck. I mean in that 100th of a Second, when 2 thoughts run through your head at least 100 times.. “Should I or Shouldn’t I ” and He Didn’t ! BILLY I KNOW YOU WILL BE A POWER OF EXAMPLE, you are right now!

I know Billy, the Billy today is much different then the Billy of several years ago. He changed and for the better. The man is remorseful and from what people closer to him then me say not a day goes by that he does not have sorrow and pain from what he has done. How many of you can say you haven’t been behind the wheel drunk. I have too many time. The differance between Billy and myself is one extremely bad accident, it could have been me over 100 times. The man is remorseful he has changed, isn’t that what punishment is suppose to acheive? Billy will have this nightmare and the footnote on everything he touches for life. The “Experts” who have wrote previous make comment that if he had this job or that job…. That is not what is important, he realized his error and changed it. How many of you keyboard experts can say that. My wish is that when Billy is finished with his time he is able to find some peace and go on and use his God given talent is a way that he may enjoy.

The man has been sentenced and is serving his time as ordered, so by all means let him be in peace, please.

In view of all the negative asses here sipping coffee looking at outdated Hustler mags with lord only knows what on there minds, others like me wonder why can’t you boys not wish Billy well on his way to redemption and recovery.

Yes he did the crime and now he is doing the time. However, most of you here are so judgmentally negative that you cannot see positive from anything.

Billy has begun his ride to recovery and we should all wish him the best when he is set free to build more bikes and parts and bring mass media attention to the industry…he is a chick magnet and you, damn hairy legs, here know all to well that if the babes are there you will try to be, too!.

I really don’t think Billy will live with this for the rest of his life once he is out of prison. The restitution will have already been paid and he will be looking for ways to make money. Who would ever want to wear a t-shirt of someone who has KILLED someone and has NO RESPECT for the law.

I thought that there would be no appeals?? Billy Lane is exactly where he ought to be. You kill a biker…you go to jail. Unbelievable. I doubt if Judge Berger will go for the motion!! The Judge gave him a light sentence for killing someone while driving careless with no regard for other peoples life. Passing on a double yellow line and speeding is careless…..then add in the being drunk!! The book should have been thrown at him. Florida has sentencing guidelines….so I think it was a waste of the lawyers time to file a motion.

Bigalyts,

I said what I thought above … I think his sentence will be reduced to a two (2) year sentence with some more community service and he will receive parole at some point in the future and he will be out.

I personally think Billy has learned from this experience and I doubt this will ever happen to him again ….. but what the hell do I know?

The bottom line is Billy killed another human being through his actions and Billy will have to live with that every day the rest of his life no matter what his “sentence” is. Just my 2 cents worth!

Here We go all over again ! Listen to all you Solid Citizens, worried that If He was just any Old Joe, He would Be locked up for 10 Years. Then there are the other Idiots thinking that His Attorney did a In Justice for Billy, And then there were the Jerk Offs that Did Not like Billy shedding Tears in Court and All the Whinning and this Lady Magazine writer talking about Billy and how you had to be there and So On And So Forth………… Listen He was a Drunk and Killed another Drunk ! He deserves to Hire the best Defense that He can to Beat the charge. This is the American Way The American System. I know that He could have done a lot better and hired a Jewish Mouth Piece but He didn’t. I JUst Hope He get’s Recovery and with that He can Spread the word that this is where Drugs and Alcohol have taken me ! You Know If He was in Dade County He would do a lot less time.

I’ve never done time and I’m sure every second of it absolutely sucks but if I were Billy I would want my lawyer working on the lifetime driving ban more than a sentence reduction. With good behavior he would do a lot less than 6 years anyway. But to never be able to drive again…..ever. I would seriously consider moving to another country when I got out. But that’s just me.

hell oj walked for double murder!!!!!!! i do think he was treted unfairly because he is a biker , and that is what the judge was looking at , people cant get that 1960′s mentality of bikers out of there minds. the majority thinks we are all bad people. billy can do more good out than in ……
