		<description>I designed a similar idle speed adjuster extension back in 1994 that I use on every bike I build with an S&amp;S carb. 

MIne uses a stainless knurled knob, but the shaft is longer and made of flexible nylon tubing that can be cut to length, making it easy to place the knob in the perfect spot for each bike. You want it as close as possible to the underside of the gas tank for easy accessibility.

I also routinely extend the accelerator pump adjuster screw, relocate the choke lever to below the rear breather head outlet and install a hand-adjustable main jet.

These simple changes make an already great carburetor even better. I&#039;d post photos but this blog doesn&#039;t support them.</description>
