That bike looks like an abortion with that fork, but I bet if you used a -3 under and some paint matching on the rear leg, it would get phat

Any chance to see this on a Dyna?
I’ve pondered this for years but still haven’t seen it done.
Interesting to see it on a Sportster.
Would like to see more views of it. (i.e. Front, 3/4 and perhaps a larger pic)

theres got to be other springers out there for the dyna line even if you need to mod a little. thiken the back leggs a bit and then your good small springers look better thik then thin.

I think the Dyna series needs a face lift from the liquid tube front ends. The springer is great but not the oval tubes. My 04′ Dyna is raked 5 degrees over stock and a Square Tube Springer would snap that bike up to the face lift it deserves. 2″ over stock on the rear legs with an extra 1″ over on the front legs from the normal puts the trunion angle of the rockers at a better angle for us N.Y.ers. with the frost heaves to glide over them. Let me know, I’m in on the springer. Go for it….Ron

I have an 09 FXDC. I would love to put a Paughco springer on. After how much time of regular riding do the springs start to rust? All that banging of metal together has to scrape off the plating. Right?? Thoughts??

Fluke – well when you take a (pretty) stock bike and just bolt a big part on it with no regard for how it fits the overall design – it is most certainly going to look out of place. I’d guess Paughco is trying to communicate “we got a springer that fits this bike,” rather than making a styling recommendation….

Now if Paughco would produce a rigid rear section for the later model Sporty and the Dyna, I believe they would have a genuine hit.
Good quality and low cost customizing while keeping the HD title, works for me!

A question for the metalurgurist among you, is stainless steel too brittle to make a springer from as those of us that live on coast shores chrome on a springer is the hardest to keep up between the atmosphere and the beach grit ?

For 2 G’s might as well Rake it a bit and do a 2-or 4″ over front end . This way you got a real Custom Look ! I know what you are saying about the SPortster, FLUKE ! It is trying to say something, but can’t find the word’s for a Stock Bike. Might as well get a Good look for just a “FEW DOLLARS MORE”, eh Clint!
