To each his own. I have seen plenty of stupid tattoos as well as some amazing works of art in tattoos. Some people have the heart to put something on them that will last for ever. Some things mean so much to a person that they choose to carry it with them for the rest of their lives. I cannot simply go in my bedroom and pick out a new style, and wear what ever brand is popular that day. My brands are permanant, and there is no hiding who or what I am. Tattoos have benn around thouands of years longer than motorcycles so to imply that tattoos are simply a by product of the motorcycle culture is laughable. Some people just do not have the nuts.

I guess tattoos aren't really a safe body modification when you compare them with a porn moustache or a Dog Chapman mullett. You can always change some things when they draw attention for the wrong reasons. I've never tried to talk anyone into getting a tat and never will. I may live to regret the tattoos I have. Right now though, the're easier to cover than that bald head I see camoflauged with the comb-over or do-rag.

Amen...!!!

RE:
"... sometimes we put more thought into the part to bolt on..."

But isn't that also true of our clothes, bikes, and behavior.... ???

The "me-too" thought process is way too prevalent among today's "scooter enthusiasts."

A good "... your mother must be so proud..." reality-check would be a good thing.

IMHO anyway

Lyle. Yes, like on a bike. Things to do or not to do depending of your look, your style, your profession... Things you will enjoy & not regret....
