This is a great experience to be part of and the comaradere and unity is unbelieveable. We accidentally left half our tools behind but others gave so graciously including the Buell Bros (leather suit), Bennets Performance (almost everything) and Terry the drag racer. On the other hand we were able to keep the Indian guys up and running. Its all grass roots racing and we are here for the right reasons. Its the start of a long love afair with the salt

Hello Cyril,
Good seeing ya on the Salt. Had to come back and sell some carbs, but I hope the French Team gets in some good runs. I was happy to have found someone to loan them the helmet they needed. But that’s what those SLR guys do for each other.
Nice to see that Team Kiwi was running, Dad Mike was wrenching away to get her on the salt.

Thanks Cyril, for the pictures. The bottom picture of the Norton did it for me, as my first bike was a Norton. 72 Comando, 750cc’s and quickest thing I rode on at the time…. (for me anyways). Only bought it because my father once had a Norton beside his hogs and I just couldn’t bring myself to buy Japanese. Ah, the memories………. Thanks Again.
