At PM, aethestics is secondary to the function of any product. What we have managed to do over the last 40 years is offer products that are as visually pleasing as their performance. Many PM products are tested on the race track on sportbikes prior to release to the V-Twin or Sportbike markets. They are motorcycles, we love them, and we are proud to offer products for both.

The V-twin market is shrinking, and the sportbike market is exploding. There are a lot of guys that are taking tips from the Chopper builders. Hayabusa’s and ZX-14’s with 360 rear tires 21″ fronts, and air ride can be found at rallies everywhere now. Good for PM!!!

I notice that’s a larger diameter rotor than the dual rotor bikes, plenty braking enough for the street. Why the hate’n Alan? It’s a motorcycle with aftermarket bling, I’d say there’s quite a precedent for the concept and a lot of fun. Probably just me (unlike all the REAL riders on this blog) but I can’t use 100% of what my old CBR1000F can dish out ’cause I’m not a good enough rider. Plus it’s never been on the track yet and never will so I’m guessing I’ll never know the difference if my Metzler tires aren’t the best available or if some mod might take away 2% of “something”. If PM can sell bazillion dollars of wheels to the sport bike crowd God bless’em. That’ll help them stay healthy enough to still be there making wheels for the diminishing chopper market. yes is ee the brake on the other side

but why yamaha or suzuki put some radial calipers on booth side
i think they know better than performance machine

if you have this kind of bike
put some ohlins and brembo but not the bullshit chrome on your bike

Smart move, 5 yrs late… There is no reason in the world they cannot successfully support both niches: Cruisers and Sportbikes, no matter the machines country of “origin”.. if it can work for a Buell, why not a Honda, if it works for a Ultra, why not a Voyager?

Other mfg’ers will follow suit or turn to dust
