I think the boys should do a reality check and look to see who made it possible for them to do what they did and make a ton of money doing so. I never saw one design or engineer drawing by Jr that amounted to anything. If it were not for Sr taking a chance with his original business to build bikes Jr still would be a DRUG ADDICT and Mikey would still be hanging from his mothers apron strings sn whining. It's too bad that children of their age are so short sighted and selfish it makes me sick, as I have two boys just like Jr and Mikey. UNGRATEFUL!!!

i think Paul senior should sell his brand to the Chinese & get royalties n take a chill pill or
Build some buggy car with motor engines like the Atom
The bikes are great but its all about the price and if it could get to the general public at the right price and fulfill the global audience demand at the right price.
I would hate to see paul senior suffer in any way, he looked sad & i felt he was under allot of stress looked strong but mentally weak (star bike auction) i felt for the man he has a good soul.
The new team at OCC are all ass kissers to Paul and lacking the artist approach and the paint job design was average. From great they have gone to not bad.
Alot of his management team were ass kissers people who tried to keep Mikey under control are the reason to blame for poor management advice and yes boss approach.

Hay pauly my name is sean hughes and I am an inventor from ill and if you can e mail me I can make us so wealthy togeather we will make occ look silly all of my life I have had. The abbility and tallent to give my ideas to large corps and have just gotton a pat on the back while saving these company’s millions . I am one of the best inventors out there .togeather we will have one of the best tv shows out there

I hope this is said "tongue-in-cheek", Mr. Hughes, because if you are serious??? ...... You may want to go back to fourth grade and maybe hire a student to tutor you in spelling as well, because I don't think the teacher could handle it alone! I was going nuts as I read many of the posts on this site. The most frustrating ones before I got to this, were the two that I read from "supposed" teachers, whose grasp of the English language (and the spelling thereof) were sad at best and frightening at worst. It's like society has lost its emphasis on basic learning skills in school.....or the average schooling of the average person who posts online is about 8th grade level (and that is being kind). Is this a fair representation of the cultural apathy that seems to be prevalent in the United States in the 21st century? If so.....Is anyone truly surprised at the current state of the economy here and abroad??? I imagine that foreigner's in chat rooms have a hard time taking American citizen's seriously, when they can speak, spell and write better than the average adult in the U.S. by the age of ten! My goodness people......if you KNOW you can't spell, are you too lazy to at LEAST use SPELL CHECK???? How long would it take you to copy/paste your post into an email box in Outlook Express.....or Microsoft Word...or Works...or a plethora of other spell checking programs available on the web. At least then it would look like you cared whether or not people will take you seriously or not. Show some self pride. I'm not saying I'm perfect either. I made 2 spelling mistakes myself. The difference is that I took the time to spell check it and then fix the mistakes.

Please understand me folks. I'm not here ripping the average guy posting on this thread (or ANY thread for that matter). Some people haven't had the chance to receive proper education for one reason or another...and other comments are likely written by young children (as in 10-13 year olds), who maybe haven't gotten to advanced English yet. It's the teachers, business professionals and people (like the person I quoted in this post) who claim to be "inventors who sell their idea's to big corps" <I> that make me throw my hands up in wonder and disgust at their lack of ability to spell the most common of words, or repeatedly use improper homonym's (their/there, where/wear, your/you're, etc). It just drives me crazy when I see someone (ESPECIALLY a TEACHER!!!!!) who call themselves a professional, who can't spell basic English words!

       My venting is complete.....for now.

For those of you that don't know:

Your indicates ownership - Your house, your car.
You're is the contraction for You Are - You're cute, you're late.

There indicates a location - There on the floor, we were there.
Their signifies ownership - Their house, their car.

Please speak and write proper English. It is not rocket science.

I have watch the show since the first episode. The shop? The reputation? All the fruits of the labor of Paul Sr. It is Paul Sr. that has the work ethic, that understand the meaning of "obligation' and "responsibility". He took the risk to build the company. He put in the long hours and days to do what had to be done so the company would succeed. He expects Paul Jr to do what everyone else at OCC to do ... be at work on time when you are suppose to. Then there is Paul Jr. It is Paul Jr. with his "I will come to work when I feel like showing up". While I give him all the credit he deserves for his mechanical/building skills the fact remains that he is spoiled to the point of believing "I can do WHAT I want to do, WHEN I feel like doing it". Everyone else, Vinnie, Christian, Rick ... they all knew they had to be at work ON TIME and meet their obligation to the boss. And like it or not Paul Sr. was "the boss". It's his company. He built it. Last -- a absolutely least -- is Mikey. Mikey is a lazy, spoiled, pampered, never-had-to-hold-a-job bum. He's a mooch. I do not say that without reason but because that's a fact. The OCC shop was just a "place to come around & hang out" when he felt like it. And when he was there all he did was play and goof around ... goof around and play. And for that Paul Sr paid him? As long as it was "FUN"...there was Mikey! When there was travel and a good time? THERE WAS MIKEY! But when it was time to start the days work he was not there. When work was being done he was not doing it. Paul Sr is a skilled builder and successful businessman that started his own company. GOOD FOR HIM! Paul Jr. is a skilled builder that hooked a free ride on the fruits of Daddy's labors. AND I RESPECT HIS BIKE BUILDING TALENT! Mikey is a pampered whiner that never developed beyond the lazy irresponsible crybaby he is. Hey Mikey? Try getting a job like a big boy. Try being an adult for a change. See what it's like to HAVE TO produce and EARN your money. Try working and earning your own money as opposed to playing and living off what Daddy gives your. Grow up. Mature. End (if you can) your laziness.

I'll keep it short and sweet. I really enjoyed your show and watching the huys in the shop build the bikes. I know of several guys my age that their fathers had started a successful business and they worked for a little while in the business and then just walked away from it. I even had to hire one who would not work in his fathers business and his father was a really nice guy and took care of his kid. Any way I hope the very best for all the Teutuls in their new adventures. I for one will sadly miss the show.

I would love to see Paul Jr and Mikey Get together And Build Bikes And put the old man out of Business, Plus them People At Occ that was involved in getting rid of P\aulie And Mikei,y, put all there butts out on the streets collecting unemployment,
paul Jr could And Should Build Bikes Under HIs Company Name, PaulJr designs, people every where would buy his bikes, he was the brains of that company, his father was a dried up old drunk, he felt the world revolved around him only,
its a good thing paul jr has 20 % of OCC, thats better then nothing, i dont think mikey got any thing, sooner or later, that company will fold.

The move by Paulie was long overdue. His dad may be the shrewd businessman, but the clients were purchasing Paulie's designs.

I really feel that Paul Sr. is a meat and potatoes "good" builder at best. His son, Paul Jr. has a great creative streak and the shop had a couple of really good fabricators. This is what made the company...Sr. should have mended fences with his children and sent all of those fuggin gray faced, pasty, soft, corporate yes men running. Those douche bags ran the show into the ground. The goofy fat kid that runs the CAD programs is pretty good at CAD, but is shit awful at coming up with something original. I think rick is a shit fab and the other guy with brown hair. those two stay and clena house with the rest. I would re structure the company. Tell my younger blond bimbo wife to STFU and mend fences with the family. Go smaller again...you don't want to be a mattel or nike...you want to be a cartier!

Paul Sr. if you happen to read this, and I think you will with your ego, You were given a golden ring to make up for whatever shit you did when you were you younger. Take care of your family and you family will take care of you. Ditch your venomous blond bimbo wife. Every since you married her your relationship has been strained.
Bring Jr and Mikey back to the comany, Jr and mikey as minority shareholders of 25.5% a piece. That way you can overrule any one of their silly moves, but together they can stop you from making anymore jackass decisions.
Get a management company in place to run the day to day business ops.
Then you guy's hire a couple of really talented builders and do what you do best. Fabricate and show your pieces. Did you not get the hint when every one of your customers asked where paul jr and mikey were? They don't want to see you...they want to see them.
you're the figurehead...you're the guy behind the name that gives Biker Cred to the build....nobody is gonna look at you and your past and say you're a poser! You're a biker with 2 very cool kids that appeal to people use em and get over yourself!

Senior Paul would never cut Paul Jr. in on a decent percentage of the business and the millions he made in shirts, hats, golf balls, etc..etc. The Man is a greedy and selfish egomaniac as well as a traitor to his own son(s) I deeply despise the man because my own father sold me out and burned me badly just for the money. These kinds of people are everywhere, so everyone needs to look out for these abusive, greedy and parasitic people. Senior?.....I hope your house burns to the ground...with you inside.

Paul Sr. is probably as big of a moron as Boyyd Coddington was. Money is the bottom line. Doesn't care about anything else, except probably his dog, which he treats better than his family.

The wife and I have watched OCC SHOW for years and injoyed it ,don't get me wrong didnt agree
with everthing that went on but lived with it. the big thing was the fighting that went on between
jr and sr, but let it go as far as letting it get this far letting the show go off air , other employees of
O,C,C, trying to take over and not talking to each other is going to bit them in the back side if they
let it go on much longer. I know from experence that I'm not proud of I didn't speek to my Brothers
for 14 years and it herts not being able to talk to family. That is or should be one of the most important things there is.

Paul Jr. should start building bikes himself. His father has a bad attitude toward his kids.
I have continued to watch the show to try and keep up with Paul Jr and Mikey.

Jr would shut Sr down in the industry doing his own thing.

The series is ending. What does that tell ya?

Good Luck to Jr. and Mikey.

Ive watched the show off and on for years. Enjoyed the drama between Sr. and Jr. in the begining. It was entertaining. And coming myself from a disfunctional family myself. I wondered how it would turn out while the world watched. It didnt turn out good. As we see. Paul Jr. is a lazy, spoiled rich kid. The only thing he had going for him was his father pushing him. This show has made them millions of dollars. Im sure that anything money can buy is available to all of them... But money cant fix there broken family....

Junior will fail, Paul will do fine. Junior made the mistake many young folks make. They believe that a lot of talent and a little success entitles them to behave any way they want and be supported by the world order they percieve (incorrectly!)

Junior is rapidly learning that the best thing that ever happened was a father that TRIED to set him up with a hell of a career, which chance Junior blew off! Senior is gruff and doesn't want to hear a lot of S__T! How the hell did he ever become successful?! (that was sarcasm ya'll) Everybody said Senior would be lost without the kids. What horse hockey. He built the company, he had the plan, the drive, the understanding that the customer mattered. He never thought that Junior built the best bikes in the world, he knew damned well that it was marketing, taking advantage of luck, and work like hell.

Hey, wait, that's the same way he started all the success that he enjoyed while junior was still playing patty cake. Some want to say that Senior owes Junior something because he wasn't the best father ever. Crap. What he owes the whining little puke is letting him go out on his own and see just what the hell he can make by himself. The answer seems to be not a hell of a lot so far. Senior might have spoiled the kids with too much money and fame for too little commitment, but at least he finally saw the truth of what a jerk Junior was, how little he respected the gifts and work of his father, and what a narcissistic entitled little punk he was becoming. Senior might have saved his son by firing him. Time will tell.

Paul Jr. and Sr. disagreement and Jr. leaving was all a marketing stunt. They a every successful business and they want to expand and made it fun in the process. Come on who would have a heated argument like that on national TV. It"s all show business.

Firstly, I'm a time served Welder/Fabricator, and have worked heavy steel and decorative/light metals all my life.

I have watched OCC, every now and then,.....Let me tell you straight. Some nice designs, let's not blow this outta proportion (there's a lotta great designers out there) , but the whole set up of the firm is a disgrace to the trade.
Now I like a bit of fun in the workshop like anyone else but who wants to come into work on a Monday morning and the owner of the firm and his sons are throwing chairs through office windows, smashing down doors etc. Lets be honest folks, that's not a serious workplace.

Skills wise Vinny, Rick, Christian and Jr are all good tradesmen, I know Vinny and Cody have left (good luck both of ye)....But Rick and Christian must be getting great appearance money, Cos I don't know any tradesmen at that age who could handle a workshop like that, skilled men don't take that shit, but senior wouldn't know tht cos he's not a skilled man.

This is Sr's problem........He keeps talking about how has been around steel all his life, ok Senior what can you do.........Can you weld......erm...........No......Can you fabricate..........erm ......No......Can you rivet.....No.....can you turn metal, mill metal?..no no.....FFs the man can barely use a measuring tape........He can heat up metal with an oxy/acet torch and roughly bend it the "old fashioned way....by the eye" as he puts it (erm.....that's not the old fashioned way Sr that's the amateur way), that's all folks..........I'm sure he has been around steel all his life, but he's been 2 busy roaring and bawling at other people to be concentrating on doing something with the steel.............

Now he gets a TV show, where he is in charge of skilled tradesmen.............Hey that's a bit like putting a cowboy in the White House aha!!, Now do you gettit.
I must admit a lot of the bikes were nice but some were very clownish.......joke bikes, if you will..............ffs....did anyone see the Crane bike.......wtf was that about, how embarassing
However, as soon as truckloads of money entered the scene, you could see all the attitudes changing. Senior actually started thinking it was "all his hard work over the years that got them to where they were".........sorry mate......it was Discovery Channel.............Junior started thinking he was almost a genius, because of all the attention he was getting ...........sorry mate........Discovery Channel again................and Mikey started thinking he was a painter/musican........sorry mate...............I can't even blame Discovery for that crap.
When the programme goes off the air, and people lose interest (and they will)........they will realise wht they missed.

Anyway........good luck to the boys...they've been thru' hell with Senior the ...........erm "Steel man".........wish you all the best lads.............Your mother did a great job on yez

PS Paul.......Get rid of the dizzy blonde.............I can see what she's up to already.......I can see courts and libel cases in the future there...............and guess what .....it's all on camera

Good luck all steel workers

Skills wise Vinny, Rick, Christian and Jr are all good tradesmen, I know Vinny and Cody have left (good luck both of ye)….But Rick and Christian must be getting great appearance money, Cos I don’t know any tradesmen at that age who could handle a workshop like that, skilled men don’t take that shit, but senior wouldn’t know tht cos he’s not a skilled man.

This is Sr’s problem……..He keeps talking about how has been around steel all his life, ok Senior what can you do………Can you weld……erm………..No……Can you fabricate……….erm ……No……Can you rivet…..No…..can you turn metal, mill metal?..no no…..FFs the man can barely use a measuring tape……..He can heat up metal with an oxy/acet torch and roughly bend it the “old fashioned way….by the eye” as he puts it (erm…..that’s not the old fashioned way Sr that’s the amateur way), that’s all folks……….I’m sure he has been around steel all his life, but he’s been 2 busy roaring and bawling at other people to be concentrating on doing something with the steel………….

Now he gets a TV show, where he is in charge of skilled tradesmen………….Hey that’s a bit like putting a cowboy in the White House aha!!, Now do you gettit.
I must admit a lot of the bikes were nice but some were very clownish…….joke bikes, if you will…………..ffs….did anyone see the Crane bike…….wtf was that about, how embarassing
However, as soon as truckloads of money entered the scene, you could see all the attitudes changing. Senior actually started thinking it was “all his hard work over the years that got them to where they were”………sorry mate……it was Discovery Channel………….Junior started thinking he was almost a genius, because of all the attention he was getting ………..sorry mate……..Discovery Channel again…………….and Mikey started thinking he was a painter/musican……..sorry mate……………I can’t even blame Discovery for that crap.
When the programme goes off the air, and people lose interest (and they will)……..they will realise wht they missed.

Anyway……..good luck to the boys…they’ve been thru’ hell with Senior the ………..erm “Steel man”………wish you all the best lads………….Your mother did a great job on yez

PS Paul…….Get rid of the dizzy blonde………….I can see what she’s up to already…….I can see courts and libel cases in the future there……………and guess what …..it’s all on camera

Good luck all steel workers

I liked the show when it first started, but like most reality shows, you get involved with the characters. Here's my humble view.

Sr is a total egotistical prick, who has bullied his way around people most of his life, including his family (apart from doddery old ma Teutul, who still thinks he's an altar boy).

He was a drugs and drink fiend when he was bringing the boys up (his own admission), He was in the Marines, but worked in the supply stores ffs........where was the tough guy then? (They do say bullies are the biggest cowards)

Can you imagine him coming back on the weekend out of his head shouting and screaming..............No wonder those boys are damaged and the third son has cut all ties with him altogether..................I feel nothing but pity for Paul and Mikey. But in reallity paul is not really a designer as such.........he's an enhancer (i.e he enchances what trained designers have developed)........and a very good one ( do a degree and learn it properly) , he won't be short of money............Sorry Mikey...........put the paint brushes and piano away.........You are not artistic and never will be, Your drawings are too infantile to be infantile and noone can play keyboards with sausage fingers..........go on a web design course and so something useful......or have a beer or 6.

Like most of the folk on here.......Vince was the true hero of the show..he got things done and no farting around.......he will definately succeed.........I served my apprenticehip as a fab/welder and it was great seeing all the old tools and skills again.......and being used properly by most of the staff except Sr. and Mikey........Jason is king of the nerds..........
and Steve has a mysterious hold on Sr........is he son No4?.............I dunno.......don't care...............Good luck Jr...........Mikey.......getto outta that bar...........Steve........ get outta Seniors Ass and Sr.........Instant Karma's gonna get ya...........

Well guys, I was always told, if your not for sure about anything,, step out of the box and look around..
So as I see it there's already 150 comments in just this site alone,, not to mention others who has provided the same approach on the matter.. Have you ever thought, this was more about the producers saying, heyyyy lets put this in and that in,, add some excitement to the table,, and just maybe it could of caused some back burners in family to surface.. Who knows.. But OCC when I saw a episode come on,, the tv was tuned into you. And always remember Family who you love will not always be here. We never know what tomorrow brings. I believe taking breaks is good,, to see what you miss or haven't missed. Paul,, do your production bikes, as I saw it they were successful. And to add one more thing. I'm not for sure as a producer I would want to break any family up for the kicks of getting high tv ratings.. So Producers,, remember American Choppers made you alot of money too. And Family is first,, So with that Take American Chopper and crew and family,, you made me laugh, and say wow.. and I'm still watching re-runs.

I'd say they built it together. They are really the perfect pair if they would both just chill. Sr has the "oomph" (for lack of a better term) to push the business forward and Jr is the creative force. The bikes have been much, much less creative since Jr left. The problem is that neither (Sr in particular) recognizes the others contributions to the business. With that said, Sr is obviously the main problem. All of the brothers get along with each other and none of them speaks to Sr. If B, C, and D get along fine and A has a problem with B, C, and D then A is the problem. I agree with Terry, the show is boring now without Jr and it has nothing to do with the fights. It has to do with the fact that the bikes are boring because everyone falls in line with Sr's idea that the most important thing is to hurry and finish. There is no creativity to them.
