My tuner lasted 1500 miles. Stopped to eat bike (Ultra Classic) would not turn over. Towed it to a Harley dealer problem was the tuner. Removed tuner and bike started right up. Can't get in touch with company. Obviously a wasted 300.00 buks plus the tow and 150.00 to diag. problem. What a waste

I've had 2 Ridmaxx tuners. The first on a Road King Classic. The second Ridemaxx tuner on my 2009 Ultra Classic since March 2010 has failed and nobody I've talked to has been able to contact the manufacturer. The website has been down for some time now.

What a rip-off piece of junk!

Installed the Ridemaxx Plus on my 2007 Electra Glide Classic (FLHTC). The only thing I have done to the bike so far is install a K&N air filter in my stock football air cleaner. Eventually the slip-ons will come when I can sneak the cost past my wife. So far, the RideMaxx is performing great. Mileage is up just like they say and acceleration or running through the gears is a definite improvement over stock. It installed in no time - all I had to do is remove my right saddlebag, then the ECM cover, remove the two bolts holding the ECM, remove the stock harness, plug in the RideMaxx where the stock harness was plugged in, plug in the stock harness to the RideMaxx, rebolt the ECM back, reinstall the cover, saddelbag, screw on the RideMaxx handlebar switch and that was it. If I'm on a cruise, i can press the Econ button on the handlebar switch or leave it in auto mode. If I'm rambunctious, I'll pdress the Pwr button to get a better hi-performance air/fuel mixture. It's freakin great!

Has anyone actually used one of these systems yet, and if so do you like it. And does anyone know if the controller is available in chrome yet?
