RE:
"... They use to call it an “automobile” in the day... "

But then they called the first steering-head cycle a "Near-A-Car"

Looks to be some kind-a strange role reversal.

So, what's up with that......???

Cycle- Short for BICYCLE (as in TWO) . Only in the Orwellian nightmare of the press can we find the newspeak- "four wheel motorcycle". They use to call it an "automobile" in the day.

Open wheel car with narrow wheelbase. Not a motorcycle. Maybe there is a hope that he can sell more if he calls it a motorcycle. LOL It actually does look like a mower without the deck. BTW, good one Rodent! Maybe OCC could build them a chopper for their company!!

Aw, that's mean, Troy. I'm pretty sure folks are adding those 2 wheel setups because they need a hand holding up a bike but don't want to commit to a full trike conversion. That 'lil red jobbie on the other hand looks like it's missing a mower deck. Isn't that the OCC/TORO bike? ;)

Hey Guyz it Look Like a Lawn Mower ! I guess you can call it anything you want. It still looks like Fun as well as Transportation. Thats what Motorcycling is really "Fun while you are Commuting" ! I see those Canams running around Town and they look cool as well. I don't think you will have to worry about Harley getting into this Game so quickly! If it is another Vehicle to Customize and make custom Parts for, I say call it a Motoecycle! I won't object!

You can only imagine how intimidating it would be for a big gang of "bikers" rolling into the parking lot of your favorite pub. Oh no!

Nick can claim whatever he wants, but in the US, if it has 4 tires - it's a NON-motorcycle.
That's whay Bombardier, Corbin, DFT, Harley, whomever, always went with a 3-wheeler; to avoid all the crash protection, pollution, and other rules applying to the auto industry.
Only exception I know of is the "trike" kits that add 2 wheels to an existing bike and leave the rear tire for propulsion. Since they were built as motorcycles and still have a bike intact inside they've been prtty much left alone, just like hanging a sidecar onto an existing bike.
