Padova & Padua are both correct (Padua in English). Slovenia (you are correct). But in French (where I was born) it’s Slovania. And I could go on, like one of my preferred cities in Italy, Florence also called Firenze (same).

Padua (Italian: Padova IPA: ['padova], Latin: Patavium, Venetian: Padoa) is a city in the Veneto, northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Padua and the economic and communications hub of the area.
