At this point you might want to re-read the posts above. Jeff tried to be funny after I posted relevant comments and links that were of interest and had parallels to some content from nicker & Mike G.

So, I responded. I think Jeff can handle it on his own.

Conrad writes: "You, and many others on here, can type up a fu*king storm but when it comes time to really use those 5 fingers as a death punch I bet you are just another person with a pocket protector and a big fucking mouth. SHUT UP. OK?"

hoyt writes:

No, I'm far from pocket protectors. Guys with pocket protectors are free to speak and/or write their mind, anyway. No, I will not shut up.

Conrad writes: "Now as for your rude little comment about the Bush bike. My dad had a very interesting e-mail sent to him aswell as a phone call about building another “BIG” bike project for a very well known person. Whether he is Republican or Democrat it does not matter. All Ican say is it will completely shock the hell out of you.

NOW ON TO EVERYONE ELSE;

As my dad said earlier. Lets get back to motorcycle talk, this is why Cyril built this site after all isnt it?

A lot of people dont understand that the ELECTIONS ARE OVER WITH. OBAMA IS OUR NEW PRESIDENT AND WE MUST SUPPORT THAT. IF HE F*KS UP ILL JUST SAY I TOLD YOU SO. BUT IF HE DOES GOOD THEN HEY I WAS WRONG , AS MANY OTHER AMERICANS. So everyone listen loud and clear….CALM THE F*CK DOWN IT IS WHAT IT IS. OK? Thanks. I am just sick and tired of listening to everyone yell back and fourth at eachother liek a bunch of 7th grades girls."

hoyt writes:

It seems you are the star-struck 7th grade girl ("oooohh, guess who called, Dad?"). It is not a stretch to think most of the readers here on not star struck and care more about a bike than the owner.

Calm down? Check your caps lock the next time.

Cyril built this site and posted these topics here as well for free dialogue, let's leave it up to him. I see you went onto write something else about politics in your next comment. Contradicting yourself aren't you?

Hoyt,

About your comment that Bush was McCains leading cause of losing you are somewhat correct. People have this thought that because Bush, as a Republican, messed up that all Republicans will mess up aswell. They also feared that McCain would "die due to age" and that McCain "just looks too old". Im sorry but looks and AGE do not have SHIT to do with being a President. IDGAF what you say or anyone else. I am fucking sick and tired of hearing the same basic bullshit about looks and age and political party affiliation. IAB (Its all bullshit).. The college students and many other Americans voted due to looks and because of the false perception that all Republicans are bad. I am a Republican, most of my friends are aswell. What does this mean? I am a bad person and will cause this country to go to hell if I make it in to office? NOOOOO...The Republican name has a bad wrap, thats all. 90% of the People who voted did so on false assumptions that if McCain makes it in he will fuck it up so they vote to the left and said hey Obama is a Democrat he will do good in office.

I asked 10 friends, yes I did a little research study. I found that with 5 simple to answer questions that 9 of the 10 didnt know shit. I asked these questions;
1: Why are you voting for Obama?
2: What do you think the difference between Democrat and Republican is?
3: What is your basis of decision on who you are voting for?
4: Are you voting Democrat because you dont like Bush?
5: Are your parents Republican or Democrat?

Typical answers:
1: Well I dont like McCain, he is old and will die if he makes it in. Plus he is Republican.
2: Democrats will give us a lot of money and charge Corporations more taxes while Republicans take a lot of money away and dont care about healthcare.
3:I dont like Bush and I dont like Republicans. We need a black president to show that this country isnt Racist anymore ( yes 9 of the 10 said that if we didnt vote for him we are proven racists)
4: Yes
5: 5 of the 9 who voted against McCain have Democrat parents and chose that because their parents didnt like Bush.
The other 4 said their parents are Republicans but their parents do not make 250k a year and they wanted their parents to be taxed less. Yes good thinking but WRONG.

Now as for my 1 friend who Voted straight Republican. I asked Patrick why? He gave me a 25 minute talk about his family and his fatheers company. He doesnt like Obamas policy ideas, nor do I, because he feels why tax the people that work their asses off even more than they are already taxed. Aswell as about 20 other reasons. It was not due to Obama being BLACK nor did it have to do with him being a DEMOCRAT.

Now if you cant see why I am telling you why I did a research group you are plain stupid.

Hoyt,

At this point it may be a good time for you to stop the comments that are rudely based towards my father. You, and many others on here, can type up a fu*king storm but when it comes time to really use those 5 fingers as a death punch I bet you are just another person with a pocket protector and a big fucking mouth. SHUT UP. OK? Thanks.

Now as for your rude little comment about the Bush bike. My dad had a very interesting e-mail sent to him aswell as a phone call about building another "BIG" bike project for a very well known person. Whether he is Republican or Democrat it does not matter. All Ican say is it will completely shock the hell out of you.

NOW ON TO EVERYONE ELSE;

So everyone listen loud and clear....CALM THE F*CK DOWN IT IS WHAT IT IS. OK? Thanks. I am just sick and tired of listening to everyone yell back and fourth at eachother liek a bunch of 7th grades girls.

".... now that the election is over with what does anyone think about the subject of....motorcycles..."

Judging by the way we're being pushed into "Green-ness" (one for Arlen).... i'd say the future is gonna be smaller & smaller scooters.
The Greens are not gonna be happy till we're all running mo-peds.

"Bigger" is certainly not better... or PC..... :-(

RE:
"... 'corporate crony-ism' ..."

Well, ya got “corporate crony-ism” on the one hand. Then there's "union crony-sim" on another. And someone else has "agra business crony-ism."
Oh ya, Billy Jeff Clinton had Tyson Chicken "crony-ism"........ yada, yada, yada....

Sorry, that's reality.

RE:
".... with the Palin-influenced loss..."

Hell, it wasn't till Palin as announced, that the GOP contributions really started coming in.

The stats indicated The McSter only got 80% of the conservative vote. Mainly because he's a Kennedy Liberal. It was as painfull watching McCain blow every opportunity as it was watching Busshy-boy try to kiss Liberals' (like Teddy Kennedy') ass.

Since i'm retired, all i have to worry about is the stock market and the tax rates.
But you boys who are still working have to worry about who is gonna be advising BO.

So, now we've got most of the Clinton cronies populating the BO's transition team.
And i just heard on the radio that "little Robby Reich" is gonna be on the advisory team too.
According to Robert Reich's everyone should be a W2 employee (either for big Government or Big Business), he doesn't believe in small business.

RE:
"... think we are getting somewhere with this….they were not “conservatives”?. Ok, so, are they “radical religious whack-jobs” then ?

Getting where exactly...???
McCain lost his influence when he lost the conservative message.

BO message was "Change."
Sorta like JFK's message: "we can do better" (better-n what?.... Change to what?...)

Hay, i'm taking the wait-n-see attitude because the Country needs a good leader.

But so far ....."Change".... ???
And "bipartisanship"..... with Rom Emanuel.... ???
Don't piss on my shoes and try telling me it's raining.

Mike - where did I say you approve bush or mccain? That's not it at all.

The fact that you state "Goldwater lost, what do I care?", speaks volumes, especially considering that your beloved bushie was a leading cause to mccain losing this election due to a twisted form of conservative politics. So, maybe you should give a damn what the last 50 years of conservative politics looks like.

Based on your bushie bike, i can care less who ordered a bike from you, no offense, really.

hoyt,

It may surprise you to learn that I am actually a very educated man and perfectly capable of reading and understanding every word of your rant, no matter how far out in the ozone your head is. FYI: Goldwater lost, so why should I give a damn what he thought?

What it will take in 4-8 years to win back the White House is simple .... we have to out spent the Dem's. Maybe if we spend 1.5-2 Billion dollars of illegally received campaign funds we will win next time.

.... "Have you started work on another bush bike, yet?".....

It would totally fuck your mind up if you only knew who I received an order to build a bike for now .... totally fuck you up!

Over & Out,

Hoyt, my lengthy quotes were made to give fair and balanced opposition to a candidate and now president elect that is dangerous to our country.

The quotes are more long winded than I generally am but for accuracy and to make the damned point they are included.

Because I oppose the OBAMA Messiah form of government does in no way construe that I approve of Bush or McCain.

Jeff - did you bother to listen to any of that or read about Barry Goldwater's version of conservative politics? It might shed some light for you to understand what it will take to win in 4 or 8 years.

The above posts also have parallels to what Nicker said about your beloved bushie not being a conservative and what Mike Greenwald quoted about big business role in government.

And beyond that, Jeff, what difference is there between Greenwald's lengthy quotes to my 4 short comments, which are still smaller in length?

You and Gar insert your foot into your mouth quite a bit.

Here is a veiled threat to motorcycling.

http://fastlane.dot.gov
Fast Lane -Peters blog
November 07, 2008
Ensuring an Effective Transition

With the American people’s selection of Barack Obama as our next
President, I want to reaffirm the Department’s commitment to ensuring a
smooth and efficient transition from the current to the incoming
Administration. During President Bush’s call to President-Elect Obama
Tuesday night, the President offered his complete cooperation with the
transition—a pledge he reiterated at yesterday's Cabinet Meeting, and a
commitment which I share.

America has an amazing system that allows for the kind of orderly and
efficient transitions our government experiences every four years. To
guarantee effective and uninterrupted operations, the leadership at the
Department of Transportation is eager to assist our successors as they
arrive, and I am counting on every member of the DOT family to do their
part in this effort.

President-Elect Obama’s transition team is being assembled, and when
they arrive at the Department, they will move into prepared office space
to begin their work, receive oral and written briefings on a variety of
topics, and have access to SharePoint transition web site. And to
ensure all of their needs are met, I have appointed a Departmental
Liaison to provide the team to the information they need to hit the
ground running on January 20.

The new Administration has a challenging task ahead. Over the next two
and a half months, they must learn about the operations of this
Department and the ongoing policy issues that we have been accustomed to
dealing with on a daily basis. Each and every one of us has a
responsibility to make sure they succeed, and we must hand the next
Administration the tools and knowledge that will allow them to provide
the American people with a safe, efficient and reliable transportation
network that is able to react and respond to the challenges of the 21st
century.

President Bush has also made it clear this Administration will sprint to
the finish. Accordingly, we will keep working to make our roads, rails
and skies safer, keep advocating for innovation and reform, and keep
moving forward with important regulatory and policy matters.

I want to thank the entire Department for their support during my time
as Secretary. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to say goodbye over
the next 75 days, but I cannot thank you enough for all you have done
for the American people. I truly believe we have the best team in the
Administration.
