Good to see Terry Poovey shining like the star that he is.

Man does he bring back many memories for me. One of the best on the flat tracks .

Terry rode many a bike but my memories of him pinning the ears back on the Harley Hogs with RS 750 Hondas made me grin and a flying Bultaco on the short tracks was a site to see.

For those of you who were not fortunate to see Terry ride; you missed a real treat and a legend in action.

Congratulations on the induction Terry.

               Good luck Terry
          To you and your family.

Harry – you are absolutely correct!

Rolf Tibblin did race Husky’s with the kick ass desert guys along with winning the gruel friggin nasty Baja 1000 in the early 70’s. As a very small child I remember him and Torsten Hallman who raced with my dad, hanging in our garage talking motorcycles, racing, checking out a new Maico or another bike and what really stood out was how funny they talked with their accents.

Congrats to all the inductees into the A.M.A. Motorcycle Hall of Fame and big props to the AMA for acknowledging such motorcycle greats.

Brenda

Ps: I couldn’t imagine a race without the excitement and energy of wild man “Supermouth” Larry Huffman!

Rolf Tibblin was a bad ass back in the day--if memory serves me right I believed he raced those Husky's along with Torsten Hallman in MX and the desert guys like JN Roberts and Malcom Smith had tons of success as well on the old war horses. The old Huskys had bad ass paint on the tanks as well, chromed out in the middle of the tank and painted up on the outsides. My favorite was the red on the early 70's models (The On Any Sunday bikes).
