Great show they brought the Indian back! I'm interested, however, in seeing if anyone's buying and riding premium motorcycles in ?? years time.

Or anything else, for that matter. It's a brave new world.

The grand opening was excellent. The factory is tight. The dealership is tight. The bikes are tight. I rode 2 at the Grand opening - a base 105 and a 105 with the "stage 1 kit" - wouldn't get one without the stage 1 kit - it was that much of a difference to me. They only let us on 20-30 minute test rides and not on the highway - so we didn't get to experience the full benefit of the Baker6 on the ride - but we got the idea it is a real nice ride. Riding up through the ranges and bobbing and weaving on some park curves - there was a VERY positive impression of handling, accelleration, strong shifts through the ranges, good torque and power. A bit low for me - scraped running boards HARD but some will love it. Can't afford one now - but in the future as I have money and they prove their reliability - I'm there. The plant, dealership, service are definately excellent. Keep it going Indian.

I got a chance to see the new bikes in Corona, CA. and let me tell you....friggin wesome looking bikes! You get a choice of short fenders or the traditional long finder/skirts and that new 105 Power Plus just looks fantastic. I own a 2000 chief and a 02 Spirit, and for the first time ever I was thinking aobut trading them in for a new vintage...that willow gream/cream combo paint is such an awesome vintage look...just wish I could afford one.
Way to go, Indian! Long live America's first motorcycle!

I was at the grand opening.. and all i can tell you, is that this is what a dealership and company should be.
And the level of professionalism, as i can see it, has been unmatched by any other manufacturer.
I applaud these guys for their high integrity. This is going to work for a very long time.
Congrats to all the guys that made this happen. For a company to pull some of the top people from other manufacturers and kick this thing in the right direction, a a feat all unto it's own. EXCELLENT JOB you guys at Indian.. I have never been more exicted. How many people were at your grand opening? Was it over 6000 I hear? Can't wait!

Nice bikes and what appears to be a more professional approach to this revival so I wish them the best. Couldn't have picked a worse time to do it though given the economic outlook, but that's just bad luck not a lack of foresight.

I'm looking forward to seeing an affordable Indian Scout in future...

The good part is Indian Motorcycles is finally up and running and the best to all involved .
Mr Julius is the person to make it work .

On a sad note all of this could have happened in the greater Bradenton / Sarasota Fl. area .
Shame on the local county governments for letting it slip away.
