So i went back to the museum site link to check on the Oakland rib joint reference (couldn’t recall the name)……..

Now the bike stuff doesn’t show up…… ??????

Less and less “depth”….. it seems.

I am not a part of this exhibit. Unfortunately, I believe that they have been referring to me to get people to the museum. They received permission from Discovery to use the segment of me from “The History of The Chopper” and they keep referring to the info from that to make it seem as though I’m involved. Had I been involved, I would have posted here some info so all would have known. I have the last bike built by Benny here in my shop, it will not be displayed at the museum. Sorry.

Sure wish some of you guys could-a gotten some pictures of Benny and his stuff in this blog.
It would give a whole lot-a cred to the Black Biker story.

shout out to sugar bear!…this is kevin Grandson of Benny hardy aka Benjamin Franklin Hardy my mom went to the opening of the exibit today..i couldnt make it i live in santa barbara cali..she got a standing ovation…im deeply moved that my grandfather is finally gettin the recognition he deserves for building the Bikes in the Movie Easy Rider… i remember seeing that life size photo in his old shop when i was lil…. now he has an exibit….. at the african american museum… Beautiful
