Seems your getting general Celebrity-TV action confused with Scooter craftsmanship.
This blog is about the latter, not the former.

Lot’s of people here know JJ. But they’re interested in what he’s building.
And most could care less about where, when, or with whom he works-out.

JJ’s venture into Stunting isn’t any more interest than Indian Larry’s stunts. And it’s a damn shame Larry isn’t around to build any more scooters. That sorta thing might impress the OCC audience, but apparently it don’t cut much ice here.

However, the relevant issue here appears to be, not to expect a cool new JJ scooter like the Radial bike any time soon.

If I am not mistaken you were 8-9 years old that first year you went to Daytona Bike Week. Also that same year you met Arlen Ness, Cory Ness, Cyril Huze, Jesse, Ron Simms, Kendall Johnson etc, etc, all of which took you under their wings and treated you like one of their own …. as it should be.

Maybe is you know Jesse so well you should call him and ask him what this means to him, “Uncle Jeff”. Yea dickface thats what he calls my dad. Also, my father is pretty close with Jesse and they trade phone calls a lot. Jesse lives in Texas about 40 miles from me and we talk on occasion as well. He is now a part of South Austin Speed Shop and is there quite often when he is not at his place with Mrs. Sandra on Lake Austin. I remember my first Daytona in 2000. My dad told me to go over and see Jesse and tell him who I was because he wanted to meet me. When I got there he and Bill were standing outside of his trailer and he knew exactly who i was when I was walking up with just a Litlle Desperado shirt on. I hungout with him for hours that day and we just talked about everything including how much my father meant to him. People would come take pictures of him and some bikes and he would make them take the picture with me in it. Why? I dont know but I know he always talks well about my father and has been nothing but awesome to me and him.

Also, that same year at Daytona, Jesse sent me back to my dads truck with an arms full of WCC clothing and said when you egt back get in the truck and put one of the pieces on and sit next to your dad and see what he say. So I did. Dad laughed and told me to bring a bunch of stuff to Jesse from Desperado. I did and what did Jesse do??? HE PUT THEM ON IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY.

So for 4 years after that I would go see Jesse and Bill the second my dad picked me up from the airport. Even when they had moved down to the other side of the bridge on Main Street when they were crammed with people. Jesse and Bill would have one of the Police officers let me through the
caution tape and crowd to come sit on the couch with them and talk between the many autographs he had to sign.

See thats something you wouldnt understand. Jesse is a great guy and my dad is not bashing him at all. He is simply saying that the industry is tired of reality shows and we dont want to be hurt anymore. But I do feel that maybe by going back to the basics and having the original TV star come back it may help out the industry.

So before you start shit maybe you should do some research and not get all hot headed about nothing. Jesse is family and I am sure my father has called him and talked about you or left a message to find out about you. We dont have office numbers man we have the cell phone numbers. We dont see him on occasion a few times a year, all we have to do is a make a call and head to Austin Texas and we can have lunch/dinner/breakfast with the guy. He is family to us not a celebrity.

I may or may not watch the show …. most likely not. I don’t do much TV but if I am flipping through the channels and hit on it I might watch a couple minutes of it. With Monster Garage for example I could count on one hand the total number of minutes I watched of that show.

If you don’t think that we need another reality TV show then I suggest that you don’t watch it…….what do you think?…good idea?! ……….However, something tells me that you will be watching it…..

And yes there is going to be some coverage on motorcycles…….

My suggestion to you is give Jesse a call and ask him who knows who, I know I will be asking that question the next time I talk with him. Also, I don’t consider my opinion of his or any other “reality shows”, bashing a friend. He, Jesse, knows I wish him well in any of his business undertakings, however, I do not think another reality show is needed, his or anyone else’s. Nor do I believe his new show will do anything for or against the motorcycle industry.

I am, however, up to seeing anyone jump a shark on water skis!

If you know him and are calling yourself a “friend”, then why are you bashing on the dude??? Why don’t you be a man and tell him that yourself!! The last time I checked, all my friends are supportive. But obviously in your way of life all you do is bash on people due to your insecurity and selfishness. In the military we gave guys like you the label as a “buddy f….er”.

You probably met him before at shows, but don’t jump the gun and call yourself a “friend”….specially after your stupid and negative comments. As a matter of fact, I knew Sandra(wife) before I met him. We both graduated for WLHS in VA. I have been a resident of CA since I got out of the service in 1988. I didn’t meet him till the early 90’s. Due to my line of work I have had the opportunity to meet some very interesting people. Some good and some not so good. That is all that I am going to say about it.

You better watch your big mouth……

I speak with JJ several times a year. JJ has been working out religiously and is in incredible shape. He has taken it to the next level. In case that you don’t know, he has been an athlete all of his life. As a matter of fact, he played football in college. So naturally, moving into a stunt man role is natural progression for him. He has an incredible team with him as well. Let’s face it, JJ is cuttting adge. He has done and is doing things his way. True or not??!!!

From what he has told me about the show, it’s going to be awsome. Seriously, hang on cause you are going to go on a ride. Believe me, non believers, you are going to be very, very surprised. So don’t count him out as a stunt man, he is going to shock you. Spyke TV is no fool, they signed him on due to a good reason………HE DELIVERS!!……Spyke TV’s main market segment is the 18 to 35 market. The UFC is their biggest show right now. As you know HD is the main sponsor of the UFC. Obviously HD knows their market very well. I personally know Dana White(UFC Pres) and I asked him what he thinks of JJ’s show and he thinks that it’s the real deal.

So for you downers and haters….give the show a chance and be supportive of JJ…..I assure you that you will be impressed.

FYI: Jesse is a personal friend of mine, as well, and has been such since way before he became famous with the Motorcycle Mania series of shows. I must have met him along the same period as you allege meeting him. The next time I talk to Jesse I will have to make a point of asking about you.

In my opinion, DTS, you should seek metal help for this inferiority complex you seem to harbor..

JJ is a multi talented person with many skills….he’s not just tied down to custom bikes. He has done extremely well for himself. He has evolved and is not scared to take it to the limit and try new things. It’s called…..T-A-L-E-N-T…….got it??!!

I’ve know JJ for over 15 years. I met him when I first got out of the military, we both worked out at the same gym……..the dude is the real deal…….he puts his money where his mouth is……..

And Jeff……you are right…..the Partridge Family is more of your speed anyway…….

Why he is doing this show is beyond me when I know a lot of people who would rather see him do magic with a motorcycle instead.
