Dunno where you’re living, but there is a very broad Victory dealership network in the USA- Polaris isnt’ going out of business anytime soon.

This Vision definitely is a striking bike- gets a LOT of attention from non-bikers- and the rider reviews have been nothing but positive.

I think there are a lot of people like me, who have had a few Road Kings in a row, and are interested in something a bit different on the next go-around….. This model should do very well against the Street Glide.

25 miles to a dealer isn’t bad.

It is a good thing the Victorys are reliable when traveling to remote places.

I dig the impressive motor. Everytime I’ve seen a Jackpot or Vegas going down the road, they have a complete, refined look all their own and the sound is great.

Regarless of style and reliablility, the dealer network is still minimal at best. I would have to ride 25 miles to my nearest dealer fo service.

I ride over 25K a year. In areas that are miles from nowhere let alone a dealer.

The Ness models are nice. A friend of mine has 3 Victorys including a Vision. I will wait until the dealer network gets bigger.

I have shyed away from the Victory line for the most part. I haven’t had much experience with them (intentionally) because quite frankly, I didn’t know if they would last as a brand, or simply fade away like so many other manufacture’s attempts to become “the other American motorcycle”. It is becoming more and more apparent though, that Victory intends to continue producing interesting and well engineered machines… couple that with the Ness treatment toward styling compliments, & custom paint jobs, etc., and Victory just may be able to suceed where so many have failed.
I would love to see a few American brands like Victory, Indian, and Harley, challenge each other on points of style, performance, ridability, price, and so on… a new model year would be electrifying and fun under those conditions, instead of the same old familiar stuff. This could get exciting!

Cool, very cool, which is no less than you would expect from Arlen. I just completed a 4 week, 8000 mile (that is not a missprint) road test on a stock Vision, and can confirm that they are a superb touring motorcycle in every respect and command attention wherever they go. Overwhelmingly, comment from people who came up to the bike at gas stations across the country was very positive and admiring. The bike ran extremely well at all altitudes whether at sea level or above the permanent snow line in the high mountains. The styling may make the bike look bulky but on the road they are very light and agile even when fairly heavily loaded. Don’t buy one though, if you are anti-social, shy or have a fear of crowds because you’ll draw them wherever you pull up.
