Yes,,,I got my ring 9 months after the course…they only had sizes 7 and 10, so after 9 months i told them to send me the 7….if you havnt got yours yet call Harley home office number and take a size 7 or 10…took class and bought bike in aug. 2008 got ring in march 2009

I to purchased a bike in April 2008 and completed the Riders Edge Course, only to find out that I did not qualify for the ring.Acroding to the web site I did and when I went to the dealer they also said that I qualifed. They filled out my form and sent all my info in for me. I got a letter a few days ago saying that I did not qualify. I called the number on the letter and spoke to the marketing company and they refused to budge on it.

I have attempted this before. I was greatly disappointed not to be able to get the ring. I completed the riders edge class in April. Happy birthday, as it was on my birthday. and then I purchased a bike that was more expensive than a new Sportster. Only to find out that I didn’t qualify. and from the message above, it sounds like it was a technic to entice women to ride, which riding is good, but poor technic, It certainly doesn’t inspire me to give a good reference to others about Harley Davidson. Shame on you.

I purchased my motorcycle on July 11, 2008 and took and passed the Rider’s Edge course August 1st through August 4th. I read about the “Let Freedom Ring” promotion in Harley’s Enthusiast magazine and went to Meredith Harley Davidson on August 29th, and filled out the promotion application. The gentlemen there wouldn’t let me mail it and said he would mail it himself. I still have not heard any word about my ring. How do I find out if my application was ever received and where am I in the process????

I first heard about this promotion in the Summer 2008 Enthusiast. (page 9) I would like to get more information on the “Let Freedom Ring” Promotion – but the link here doesn’t work. I purchased a Harley and attended the Rider’s Edge course. Anyone have more info?

So if ya buy a bike and pay for the rider course they throw in a ring?
