Thanks for the plug, but I have no idea where "Evidently, when you write in this online encyclopedia about any motorcycle topic or person, you must keep an absolute neutral point of view and refrain from any bias. Motorcyclia." came from.

I am not launching it, but am part of a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who are launching it. And we have no idea how to keep an "absolute neutral point of view and refrain from any bias."

The idea is to create a live and growing source of information regarding all aspects of motoryccles - old and new, American & import.

Wikipedia as a reference is very controversial. It is both praised for its free distribution, free editing and wide range of topics. But also extremely criticized for systemic biases, lack of credentials of the writers, deficiencies in some topics, and lack of accountability and authority when compared with traditional encyclopedias. It may be much worse with this Motorcyclia because it will be written by a small group of people some of them with srong bias and a personal agenda.
