Rick, I'm in for $100 to the Children's Hospital Charity. Can you give me a mailing address to send the check to? I'm making this in memory of my father, Albert F. Gingerelli. He wasn't a biker, but he was a Shriner, and he served on the board of the Los Angeles Shriners' Children's Hospital, which I'm assuming is comparable to the hospital in Dallas. He passed away from lung cancer in 2002, but he was one heck of a fine person.

Have a good ride in Sturgis, but kick the tennis shoes. I can show you a skin graft on my right foot that resulted from wearing tennis shoes and laying down a motorcycle!

RF , Cyril , Marilyn Stemp :That's a Great Idea , and i would make a fantastic story to tell, riding with all the " Big Guns " of Custom Builders ! Yes, If I had the chance to be there, I would be more than happy to give an extra 10 bucks per-Big Name for Charity. Hell I`ll even buy the first round back at Sturgis!.!.!....>>>.".Who knows, I might look good in a french maid outfit!? If it will raise more money for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children I just might wear one. Wait a minute, I just pictured myself in my mind. Forget it!....>>> Thank You Rick !!!

If the money is going to help kids, another $10 per builder is a bargain. Why not get all the builders to ride out from the Builder's Breakfast on 8/5?

To Rick & readers. I will take my decision to go to Sturgis at end of June. If I make it, I will join the ride. But now, should it be $10 more per person each time a new builder join?

Kephas ,
You have got to be wanna be or else just a plain little wimp. If I tryed to act out your definition of a real biker then some true biker would probably try to kick my ass. Maybe is't just a inscure thing you have????????? There are some places in Dallas you should avoid.

Wait a minute, I just pictured myself in my mind. Forget it! I have a better idea. Why don't I invite Cyril & any other builder to ride with us. How about it Cyril, wanna ride with me & a lucky winner to raise money for children?

Ease up Bruce. Just making an observation. Rick can wear a french maid outfit if he wants. To be a biker is to have your bike on the road more than in the garage. To be a biker is forgetting how to drive the truck. To be a biker is to never care about the weather forcast. To be a biker is trying to figure out how to put more layers on in January and February. To be a biker is wrenching your own sled. To be a biker is to talk about your sled as if it were another person. I hang out with "Rachel". To be a biker is to sleep next to your sled in a rest area for a couple of hours to make good time to the destination.

I'm sure Rick builds a marketable chopper. The next time I ride through Dallas, I'll stop by. Bikers build the best affordable choppers and bobbers. What sucks is that you can't buy them. You have to build one yourself and don't dare copy. You can get your eye dotted...........
