It is great news that Bill Rucker did not win the bid to purchase American Iron Horse. What made him think that he could run a multi-million dollar company? Ego? Rucker Performance is headed into a financial downward spiral. Employees at Rucker Performance have to run all over town to get their checks cashed, hoping that they will get their money so they can pay their bills. Meanwhile Mr. Rucker is on vacation catching some sun in Mexico. Most of his employees do not know that their medical insurance has been canceled, due to lack of payment. Wait until they start getting the doctor bills in the mail, I am sure Mr. Rucker will take care of them. I am not a lawyer but I bet that the Texas Work Force Commission would frown on this. Not to mention that it is illegal to write checks when you know that the funds are not in the bank. Why his employees do not leave I do not know.

My old man met this Meyers guy two years ago when he was promoting/selling these AIM scooters in Sturgis. This guy hangs and parties with Arlen and everyone knows Arlen is pretty damn finnicky who he hangs with. If this guys was a high level suit at one time, he don’t act it and he does love and ride his scooters. If he has the smarts to turn this thing around, maybe not a bad thing for AIM to have someone on board who digs scooters and has some f…ing brains. Certainly the last batch of management didn’t have any of either. I think the bigger question you all should be asking is who is he bringing with him to turn this around? It certainly ain’t goin to be easy.

any qualified shop can work on your bike, its a motorcycle assembled from parts..most are replaceable with off the shelf components from other manufactures. unless you have to have the horsey head on your billett. this is a post about business and bankruptcy not parts for your bike

Yes, agreed. The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas should speak to the dealerships that have sold and serviced for Scott Meyers and Bill Rucker. Whoever has the best references should only be considered to take over AIH!

This is good news! Scott Meyers, before opening these dealerships selling AIH, Arlen Ness and Bourget, was the Chief Financial Officer and then President of a $3 billion dollar defense industry company. He was a highly successful CPA and Partner at one of the big national CPA firms prior to that. He has the right background to get this company restarted and back to it’s potential. I hear he LOVES motorcycles and the people that ride them and brings a business background that very few in the industry can match.
