When Jay Allen was going to buy the horse pasture that was to become Sturgis City Limit, I counciled Jay with the following, and this was before the Indian uprising. The land is too far from Sturgis and people won't ride at night out there because of the deer and cops. He said there is a back road with only deer and no cops but it's dirt.
