I’m with goldi- on this one.
-1- you can catch a burned valve before you can feel it, just be the radical mileage drop-off.
-2- and avoid that “can i make it to the next stop on whats left in the tank?” feeling….

just a thought.

$4.00 a gallon is a bargain. In England we are paying around $9.50!! But it is still a pleasure.

My bagster gets 32.8465MPG in town and 46.9146MPG on the highway the old fasion way divide miles into gallons the way I learned in grammer school

With regards to mileage, I fill the tank and check it each and every time. Lets me have a reminder about serivicing other things on the bike.
