He will be remembered as one of the true legendary icons of the hot rodding world. Boyd was bigger than life itself and will be sorely missed. Heartfelt condolences to his family and those close to him.

Admired his work, Innovative ,creative genius.

Hated the showon television.
Like the OCC show,deadlines detracted from tquality work that was
being prformed.
No wonder his offerings were so expensive.
Did appreciate the design and execution of his vehiles.

I knew Boyd only from television. What I saw from him, was worth showing on TV, that’s for sure !

I didn’t know him personally but have had the pleasure of seeing some of his work. True craftsmen like him hardly exist anymore. My condolences to his family and friends.

Having had the opportunity of admiring his work first hand, meeting him and riding in one of his car’s, i can say his was a true “love of the craft”. He will be sorely missed and i’m sure Chip Foose, and others will be saddened even more than those of us that didn’t get the opportunity to work with him personally. Condolences to his family and co-workers!
