Super Girder Front End

Girder front ends are back. Girder front ends are cool. Good Girder front ends work better than many Springer front ends. RMD Billet has teamed up with legendary innovator and designer Leo DiOrio to bring you the Super Girder 2800 (SG2800. It carries the raw industrial legs machined from one-of-a-kind extruded billet aluminum, precision-machined upper and lower control arm trees, and a Penske shock slammed in between.  It is currently available in 24-32” lengths with 0-5 degrees rake.  Either single or dual brake rotor setup will fit.  This currently works with any aftermarket frames.  A combination of finishes allows for endless possibilities for the final look needing to be achieved.  Saw it installed at the V-Twin Expo and the design is beautiful. Most of you have seen this on Goldammer’s salt flat custom. So, not only does it look strong, it’s been put to rigorous applications in a successful manner.

Impressive design, build quality, and great-looking. You have to like when engineering, materials, and aesthetics get along so well.

That is slicker’n goose snot. Reminds me of the Durfee billet front end.

I am looking at this front end and had a thought that the 2008 V-Twin Bike of the Year (Big Dog Pitbull) would have used this as an optional front end to a great advantage. I think that the combination of the two would rock.
