<description>It should be noted that American Motorcycle Association, ABATE, the Enforcers Notorcycle Club and others all worked together on this.
Their approaches were different and there has been some difference of opinion on who is responsible for the success so far.
There have been some claiming victory for defeating this proposal when in fact it is only a tempory victory.
Those that are interested should plan on attending all meetings until this is officially defeated. Many times people pushing items like this will just wait and try to sneak it back in when they think no one is looking.
If that happens then organizations and indivuals would have to file law suits against the city. This is time consuming and expensive and will definately cost the city But the motorcyclist will eventually win.
It is more important than just Delray Beach because if it is succesfull there othere will try it elsewhere.
The AMA has been very successful in winning this type of thing around the country and because of their experience in that and the other things they do I am requesting that all motorcycle riders join their organization.
Once you become a member you can contact them as I did and ask them to interced on your behalf on issues like this.
Even though there are Motorcycle Rights Organizations that are involved it is still the responsibility of each and everyone of us to contact our elected officiald directly and let them know our position on any and everything that affects our lifestle.
I do and will contimue to do so. I hope you will also. It does not take that much time and it does make a big difference.
 Thanks
