A friend is in the build team — I was suprised to hear that he had to pay over $7,000.00 for the engine! Why would other suppliers discount – or – give their products and services away? Sounds like this is a big win for the marketing/sales dept @ S&S — good job!

I was involved in motor racing in the late 80’s. One car owner stood up to a track promoter and said “we are not going to pay an entry fee — we are putting on the show” — Now they race for big purses and many other benefits. . .
