08 ROCKER C WITH 69K. BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN AFTER HITTING A CAR THAT RAN A RED LIGHT. TOOK OUT THE FRONT END AND BENT THE FRAME 3/4 IN.. HAD THE FRAME COLD STRAIGHTEN, INSTALLED A NEW UP GRADED FRONT END TO STOP THAT FRONT TIRE FROM CHOPPING AND BUILT A SCREAMMING EAGLE 113 ENGINE. INSTALLED ALL THE BEST SCREAMMING EAGLE ENGINE PARTS THAT THEY OFFER AND GOT A MONSTER. I RAN A 2010 DYNA WIDE GLIDE WITH A JIMS 130 AND OUT RAN HIM 3 TIMES BEFORE HE GAVE UP. I EVEN GAVE HIM A 3 BIKE JUMP, RAN HIM DOWN AND STILL WON. THANKS HD, SO YOU GUYS OUT THEIR THATS TALKING BAD ABOUT THE ROCKER C COME GET SOME.

I own the Rocker C and it is one sweet bike. Before I bought it my wife said she would not ride on it, but I told her I was not getting it for her. After getting home with the bike my wife finally decided to go for a ride. She was surprised how safe she felt on the back seat. The only problem I have now is. ” She wants to go everywhere with me.” I will say she is a small girl and I can say that will have a big factor in the comfort of the ride but, if I had a big girl I would have used her for a trade in on this bike and laughed all the way home.

I own the bike, I love it. I put Vance and Hines pipes, Screamin Eagle air cleaner and screaming eagle computer and for a mostly stock bike it is sweet. The girls that I have had on the back have not complained once about the seat. In fact it has been quite the contrary, I get lots of good comments from them about how much they like it. I am going to be putting the Heartland EZ rocker kit on it though as well as some drag bars and rims. The rims actually are the only complaint I have of the bike. It is unsealed cast aluminum and the corrode very easily and are difficult to keep shined.

OK…am I the only girl on here? I love my boyfriend Rocker C I love that it has a yong modern look and think her looks great on it, but i think it looks even better with me on he back and I dont mind the seat at all. While it is not practical for 1500 mile trip we dont take any. So its great for running around town or a quick bike run. I love it and I saw one comment about “who wants someone sitting so close”… must be married for a long time most of the guys I know love that feeling of a women wraping their arms around them and pressing our…to their backs. Oh well

I picked up my “08″ FXCW on Halloween in Little Rock. I went with the FXCW instead of the FXCWC cause I hate chrome! I love this bike. My wife did not want to ride with me , so it was an easy decision to by a solo bike. The FXCWC seat is about 2 inches higher and wasen’t comfortable for me. Now that I have it home, she wants to ride, damn! never saw that comming! I’m looking for a used set up, but no luck so far. The whole shebang is gonna run about $800 new, so if any of you want to part with your set up, let me know. $300 should be enough, right? I test rode all the Harleys, Victory’s, Suzuki’s and Yamaha’s before I setteled on this bike. Did I mention , I LOVE THIS BIKE! It handles like a dream. Rode 200 miles, no fatigue! I put my black Bassini pipes on next week, cause its just too quiet for me. I added a windshield as well. Dreading the day I have to change the rear tire!!!!

FXCWC TO FXCW REAR SEAT
I PUT THE SEAT AND ALL THE REAR SEAT MOUNTINGS WITH BACKREST FROM THE FXCW. YOU CAN GET IT FROM THE HARLEY BOOK. I SPENT $1100 WITH CHROMING THE SUPPORTS FOR THE REAR SEAT. WE JUST CAME BACK FROM A 1200 MILE TRIP AND MY WIFE LOVED HER NEW REAR SEAT SET UP.

I GOT MY BLUE ROCKER C FEB 08. AT FIRST I T TOOK A LITTLE TIME TOO REALY GET INTO THE BIKE. BUT AFTER MAKING SOME CHANGES TO THE EXHAUST WITH V & H SLIP ON PIPES, HD FOOT PEGS, MOVING THE FRONT BLINKERS TO THE FORKS, ADDING SOME CHROME TO THE ENGINE, A 103 HD KIT AND CHROME WHEELS THIS BIKE GETS MORE LOOKS THANS EVER. WHEN I AM HANGING OUT WITH BOYS ON THEIR TRICKED OUT CUSTOM BAGGERS WITH THEIR SOUND SYSTEMS I STILL GET MOST OF THE LOOKS AND ASKED A LOT MORE ?. I HAVE OUT RAN 107S, 110S, 113S AND EVEN A 127 COULD NOT LEAVE ME BEHIND ONLY STAY NEXT TO ME. SO FOR ALL YOU THAT DO NOT LIKE THIS BIKE IS NUTTTTTSSSS THIS BIKE IS HOT AND GETTING HOTTER. I HAVE PUT OVER 26000 MILES ON THIS BIKE AND LOVE IT. ITS ONLY GOING TO GET BETTER.

To all you probable moped riding biker wannabees that are just shooting holes in something that either cant afford or probably just couldnt ride, you should show us what you think looks good and then park it next to a rocker and see what draws more attention.this bike is hot and all i get is positive comments from people that actually ride harleys, and as far as the back seat goes it is a great idea for the hot chick you just met in the bar to get wet on, not ride across country, but then again you moped riders wouldnt understand that would you???

I have recently purchased a rocker c my wife and i both love it other than when I ride it by myself women love this bike it is simply an eye catcher. there are just too many of you out there that like the jap bikes cause they are cheaper. If you know anything, it is there is just something about riding a Harley a pride thing! Some of you don’t appear to know what that is. Live Free Ride Hard!

I bought the rocker-C about 3 weeks ago and the seat design is perfect becuase it folds away. However, you do need to make sure your rider has a small backside or she might take the whole seat

The main seat is not very comfortable though on long rides, so I might have mine redone in the dear future, or lose about 100 lbs of my own backside heh.

Love the bike – it draws crowds where ever I go!

The first thing I did with my Rocker-C, was to change seat with FXCW seat. It’s softer, lower and more narrow too. Bought the touring kit with removable pillow/backrest. Works like a dream.

hdwideglidehd – Wow you put Vance & Hines Big Radius pipes on the Rocker…that is impressive considering V&H does not make pipes for the Rocker…yet. You must have installed regular softail
pipes from V&H…which is a BIG NO NO. Yes , the pipes will bolt up but if you would have done some research, you would’ve found that the V&H pipes you installed are too close to the tranny lines and oil tank. This will cause your bike to run hotter and void the warranty. The good news is that V&H already has “the Rocker” part number (26043) listed on their website (www.vanceandhines.com). They are supposed to be available towards the end of Aug. I too like the Big radius pipes but I am wait ing for the correct fitting ones before I make the change. Feel free to call Scott at V&H(562- 926-5291) and ask him about what I have just mentioned. If your local Harley dealer installed the set-up, maybe they will replace them once the correct pipes are realeased. Don’t feel bad…many new Rocker owners have made the same mistake (primarily from local Harley dealers just wanting to make an additional sale and not speaking directly to the manufacturer about proper fitting). I have noticed that many softail products are not interchangable with the Rocker…just because something will fit an 08 softail does not mean it will fit the Rocker.

I just purchased the rocker c my girlfriend is very small but has a little back problem. I don’t understand why they cannot come out with a seat that will clip on to the other one that has a small back rest. Something that you could leave in your garage. Corbin has two seats out they are custom-made over $900. Totally ridiculous. All I want is a small seat for the back with a back rest for the passenger.if anybody knows about something similar to what I am looking for please e-mail me mmercier43charter.net thank you

How cares about the seat the bike it self is beautiful it rides like a dream just got my new rocker c and love it rides nice and looks great got the bike home and tore the seat off of it and custom installed a nother one ant it looks hot . The 240 rear tire is unreal so what if the origanal seat looks like shit everyone customizes ther own bike most of the time the bike rocks.

Harley hit the nail on the head with this bike. Once you ride one, you will want one. I already had an 05 FL so this one is for fun. Slapped a race tuner on it, V&H Big Radius, Big Sucker air cleaner and the new Corbin seat and what a ride! This bike gets ohhs and aahs everywhere you take it. My wife has no intentions of ever getting on it and she is the one that actually bought it for me. She feels much more at home on the FL with all the comforts of home (plus the storage for all the crap she buys). Guys, if your looking for a bad ass scooter with Harley reliability, then this is the one for you. When you compair the price and comfort of the Rocker to the other “chopper” type bikes out there, you can’t go wrong with the Rocker!

are you kidding go buy another street glide or road king . how about putting your couch & tv on there too.

have any of you ridden this ? how about on the back? I have done both, and your right a little close is comfy nothin wrong with the double d’s in the back. as far as a load test ,who wants a load on the back of there bike? if your into big passengers get a bigseat but by all means live & let live. I guess the saying goes

Just bought one about 30 minutes ago Rocker in black. Will be picking this bike up on Thursday. Also bought the touring package minus the sissy bar which easily comes on and off in less then a minute for a passenger. The bike rides great and to me looks awesome in person. My wife and daughter love this bike also. We orig. went in to buy a nightster but it didnt handle well and felt like a hardtail, checked out all the new ones and this rocker was the hottest test drove it and was amazed.

Well I bought one and my wife, (54 kilos) will sit on the back quite nicely. I am told Harley did significant load tests, regardless it is an awesome bike, seat out and in.

Not too sure why everyone is so hell bent on trashing the Rocker, the pictures don’t do the bike justice. If any of you people trashing the bike even went to a dealer to see one you would probably change your tune. I bought the Rocker and love it, it handles nice and for a solo seated bike it sure draws a lot of attention, and not bad attention either, every comment I’ve gotten has been a possitive one. I know all the diehard bikes think Harley made a bad choice with this model, but suck it up guys and deal with there decision to produce this model.

I bought the FXWC (not the C). I bought the touring package for when I want a passenger and it looks great! The rack setup alone looks good enough to keep on the bike all the time, but when I want a passenger I just pop on the extra sit and backrest in a stap! Not only is it bigger and beefier for the passenger, It also is a great backrest for the driver. Forget the stupid seat on the “C” model. If I had bought the “C” model I would have changed to the other seat setup ASAP!

I agree that the passenger seat sux! I call it the Elroy hover seat. I just bought the new Rocker (not the C). The FXCW is the Bomb, Baby. I love it. My old lady doesn’t ride so an extra seat was not even an option for me. The straight Rocker is just Harley’s answer to the chopper. Before anyone goes criticizing, you need to check out the FXCW. Harley and Custom fans both will be impressed. 240 rear end! Oh Hell Yeah!
